We required a drop off and pick up at sections of the Cape to Cape track.

Bill was very helpful, prompt and great to talk to. He has a wealth of information in regards to the area.

Would recommend.

“Bill's a star”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 April 2012

We took a big family trip to Perth and Margaret River in March and were deeply blessed to have Bill as our driver and guide. There were 24 of us and Bill tailored an itinerary that truly had something for everyone. Unfazed by the challenges that come with managing a big group with varying demographics, he very quickly grasped the dynamics of our group and was equally flexible and accommodating. The kids got plenty of time in playgrounds, open fields and beaches to expend their energy; while the adults managed to enjoy the vast array of wines and good food on offer - so nobody feels left out. He reached out to us personally and we appreciated his friendship and patience. Bill was especially sensitive to our individual needs - there were so many instances he went the extra mile. Like voluntarily escorting my mother-in-law out of the Ngilgi cave after five minutes so she wouldn't have felt compelled to go the whole way with the rest of the group; sending one of us to the bus station when a member of the group had to depart early; and even offering to bring us medicine late at night when one of our babies fell sick.

Most of all, we benefited from tapping into his vast knowledge of the region, its geography, history, natural wonders and its wines, presented in such an easily understood manner. The bus was comfortable, we never felt safer, the service he provided was first rate and food recommendations just perfect for our group. There is absolutely no doubt that Bill is a star, and our trip wouldn't be the same without him.

“Fantastic tour of everything Margaret River has to offer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 February 2012

We did a full day tour with Bill last week and had a fantastic day. He showed us wonderful wineries, beautiful beaches and terrific food. A highlight of the day were all the small, family run wineries Bill took us to that had amazing wines, that we would never have discovered without Bill. He was also very knowledgeable of all aspects of Margaret River - the environment, recent events (eg. the bushfire), history of wineries etc.

An added bonus was that he will send back a box of a dozen wines to Melbourne for only $20 - this meant we could buy a few bottles at all of the wineries we visited and not have to worry about getting them back to Melbourne (as wineries only tend to send them back if you buy a whole dozen from the one place).

All in all it was a terrific day in a beautiful part of the world with a very experienced and fun guide. We would not hesitate in recommending Bill.

“Expertly tailored tour of the Margaret River wine region”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 January 2012

Bill was an outstanding tour guide who pulled out all the stops to fulfill every request we made on our personalised tour of the Margaret River winery region.

His knowledge of the area, its history and wine was very impressive, but he also kept things light-hearted and relaxed. His wine recommendations were always spot on and he even managed to take us to a very special cheese place where the owners happened to be nursing a joey, which was the absolute highlight of the day.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bill's tour company Confluence to anyone who wants an individually tailored and personalised tour of the Margaret River wineries at a relaxed pace, with expert advice along the way.

“Happy Days!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 December 2011

Our Wine Group travelled to Margaret River to see the sights and enjoy the atmosphere of the area. Bill put together an interesting itinerary which combined good food, excellent wine tasting, great sights and a glorious hike! Three terrific days, and we felt we really got to know the area.
