Description: Looking for something other than a restaurant dinner tonight? Then it's time to drop into The Larder and treat yourself to one of their mouth-watering take-home meals. This Margaret River treasure has become the first port of call for visitors wanting to stock up on some little luxuries for their holiday stay, and to sample the best of local and exotic fine food. Whether it's fresh wood-fired bread every morning from Gotthard and his team of bakers in Yallingup, locally made nougat from Bettenay's or olive oils by Olio Bello in Cowaramup, the aim is to source the very best of local produce to offer customers an authentic gastronomic experience. Owner and Masterchef finalist Siobhan Halse is passionate about good food, and that passion infuses everything in this magical store. This enthusiasm hasn't gone unnoticed, with The Larder winning two awards in the Margaret River Region 2014 Business Awards in the categories of 'Business Excellence' and 'Regional Small Business 0-4 Employees'. The Larder incorporates a cooking school, a boutique catering service and the famous gourmet deli - worth a visit in itself just to enjoy the wonderful sights and smells.

Once you get tired of 5 star dining, drop into the Larder and grab some local produce to create your now light meal. We spent 4 days in the area and decided we should have something light to eat. The local cheese, venison pate and salads are a must.
Alternatively, you can ask them to prepare picnic or dinner hampers.

What a great find - and only did due to Trip Advisor reviews. After a long day sightseeing we didn't feel like eating out and were a bit nonplussed about usual fatty takeaway options. Were able to get pasta dish and Malay syle curry for dinner and both were delicious! Tasty home style meals with generous portions. Choices also included vegetarian meals, risottos and salads.

As we were staying in a self -contained studio we went to The Larder on the recommendation of friends in Perth. We bought several meals from here and whilst they may have seemed to be quite expensive, when compared to what a restaurant may charge, it didn't seem too much. The food was superb. We bought two pasta and a rice dish. There is a vast range of food to choose from, although mains selection was a choice from three or four at the time we bought ours, which was late afternoon.
Can thoroughly recommend The Larder, especially for those who either don't fancy going out for dinner or can't be bothered cooking.

Surprising because we weren't expecting much of a place that sold takeaway food. But we were so wrong. We had the spinach dahl with a brown rice salad - the dahl was super flavourful and went perfectly with the brown rice. We picked up a pack of chicken tikka at Woolworth to add some meat to our meal - the combinatio was fantastic.
