From the minute we checked in my partner and I were greeted with warm hospitality, a detailed map of the region and also tips on where to go. What a lovely place; close to everything, lush surroundings, and relaxing. Thankyou so much Denise! Robyn & Brett

We appreciate your fantastic comments so thank you:) The weather is fabulous now and the outdoor decks and bbq are getting good use. The forest walk along the river with the sun coming through the trees making everything look beautiful is just fabulous at the moment.
Hope to have you stay again some other time :)

I would highly recommend this lovely Motel. It is in a beautiful spot just on the outskirts of Margaret River within easy walking distance of this interesting and picturesque town. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and are more like you'd expect of a 4/5 star hotel standard. We loved everything about it. The owners were very helpful and couldn't have been more hospitable. A definite must if you aren't sure where to stay! You won't regret booking here.

We stayed here for a couple of days in late November. The room and bathroom were sparkling clean, comfortable with tasteful appointments. The rooms are set up with microwave, etc, to enable self catering breakfast. The owners were particularly helpful with suggestions for touring the area, restaurants and walks. Each unit has its own small covered deck which was ideal for breakfast or a pre barbecue drink. There is also a covered barbecue area, with bbq paraphernalia and condiments all supplied. Free wifi and a plentiful supply of dvds for loan is also offered.

Room Tip: The back rooms are probably the quietest, as they are furthrest from the main road.

My third stay at this motel. But the first one with the new owners. They have done a great job with the renovations. Very nice clean and large bathrooms. Denise and Alan are very helpful with anything you ask. They have really made a effort to get around the town and know all about the good winerys and restaurants in the town. The BBQ area is very nice if you wish to spend a night in. Good location a short walk to town. Would recommend this motel it really has all the finishing touches to make your stay one to remember.

Room Tip: I would ask for a room overlooking the garden. No 2 can get a bit of road noise. I have stayed overl...

Many thanks for your great review and we look forward to having you back. The King and King Triples rooms overlooking the back garden are indeed very popular.

Exceptionaly clean with above average comfort levels. Much better than expected- photos dont it justice.
Gentle 5 minute walk over Margaret River bridge to superb Margaret River town- restaurants, bars, bakery, supermarket and shops.
Nice friendly service, pretty garden with plenty of seating, outdoor gas BBQ (free to use), and garden lighting. Off street parking. Very quiet!
Powerful double shower, all guest house amenities you could want and need- quiet ceiling fan and air con, TV, fridge, microwave, iron etc! We stayed in the family room with extra spare single bed. We would highly recommend this room and we would definitely stay here again.

We'd love to have you stay with us again if returning to Margaret River. As the Family Room has it's own BBQ it is very popular and gets plenty of use. We often catch a whiff of bacon and eggs in the morning.

6 bedroom motel on outskirts of Margaret River. Everything was OK but nothing better than that. Air con noisy. Barbie in garden fab. Sound insulation from room above awful.
Good location near beaches and bars and restaurants.

We note your comment regarding noise from room above and apologise for any inconvenience.

Unfortunately not all guests are honest and book for the correct amount of guests for the room, there are those that sneak in 1 or 2 more than on their booking which then makes the room over-crowded and noisy. We try to police this as much as possible but it still goes on.

This is a motel on the very edge of town. The room was fine if a little snug for two plus two suitcases. The walk into town for meals is ok during the day but a little dark at night (take a torch) and the road is a busy one. The bathroom was commendable and the parking easy (just outside the door).
If new to the area as we were, do ask Denise for some pointers but concentrate as she will fill you to overflowing with ideas. All her suggestions that we took up were well worth it. My favorite was the Berry Farm - get the Boysenberry pie and sit outside. You won't be alone for long!

Room Tip: Ask for a garden room if you want to be away from the road noise (which is not that bad).

Thank you for your comments and we are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. We have torches at Reception if required for the walk back from town at night. There are street lights from town to the Motel which are all usually working. The Berry Farm is truly lovely and the Blue Wrens a treat.
