Dropped by the Grove looking for something to simple to eat, maybe with a glass of something local. Great choice of liqueurs, wine's and beers to taste with a little cafe tucked around the side. I'm not sure about the decor, something to do with France I think.... With a little of the Coles cafeteria thrown in. But the platter for two was sensational with fresh bread, homemade meatballs, sensational cheese and meats. We had some of the tapa's menu chicken strips with aoli to go with it. This was our undoing as the platter was very substantial with us unfortunately not being able to finish it all. That plus one of the better long macchiato's to be found in the area to finish the meal. We will be back!

I have been to The Grove twice now in my travels and would go back in a heart beat!
The staff are friendly and helpfull, The host was entertaining and made an effort to make everyone feel welcome.
The chalets are well kept and well appointed, I never felt as though they lacked in anyway.
Each chalet is tucked away in it's own private setting surrounded by trees and wild-life, sitting in the outdoor hot tub in these surroundings makes one feel as though there is no one around for miles!
The highlight of my stay was sampling the vast number of spirits and wines on offer and most importantly the beer that is produced on site! it is a MUST for any beer loving guest, unique and down right delicious.

The cabin was basic and sufficient for our needs but the owner of the place was the rudest person I have ever come across. I would never go there again and not recommend the place to anyone.

Stayed for 4 nights in The Bungalow and we felt like we were in our own little world. Complete privacy, extremely clean, KS four poster bed, fabulous enclosed jacuzzi for 2. The Grove is located a bit away from Margaret River town but right near all the great wineries. And of course you are staying at one of them. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone.

We stayed in one of the chalets for four nights during a visit to Margaret River in January. We found the chalet very well appointed and clean and the setting in the forest just on the edge of the vineyard was fabulous. The chalet had three bedrooms and would comfortably sleep 6 adults. The Chalet also had a jacuzzi/ tub outside which was a great spot to relax and sip a glass of the local wine. The Grove as well as a winery is a distillery and a coffee roasting house so you get these occassional wafts of great aromas. There are magpies and parrotts to be seen every morning around the chalet and you would have difficulty missing the Kookaburras which can be heard at nightfall and dawn around the forest. We found this a good spot to tour the area we travelled south to Augusta and north to Busselton from here and found the trips just about the right distance for days out. It is about ten minutes north of Margaret River. Be sure to visit Gracetown beach which is great for a swim.

There are 3 cottages, all built into their own secluded part of woodland. The view from the windows is out across the vines and the only noise comes from the wildlife.

From the cottages you can easily walk to the cellar door of The Grove and a short stroll further are Knotting Hill, Woody Nook and Lavender vineyards. Handy if you can't agree on who will be the driver. I can recommend the lunches at Woody Nook.

With only 2 of us staying we booked the Bungalow, a 1 bedroom place and the smallest of the 3 cottages. On arrival we found the hotub to be broken, although disapointed, we weren't worried as the weather was somewhat cool at this time of year. Without having to ask, the owners upgraded us to one of the bigger cottages where the hotub was working.

The cottages are well furnished and there has been a good amount of money spent here. It felt rather plush and the facilities were well thought out. Very much a home from home. The gas fire was lovely in the evening.

Chardonnay cottage has 2 bedrooms, one of which is ensuite, the other has a seperate bathroom and toilet. There is a large dining table and 3 sofas in the living space, plus satellite TV. The fully equiped kitchin was perfectly adequate and there were nice touches such as a bottle of Grove wine and Koffeworks coffee left for our arrival. There is an outdoor dining table and barbecue for when its warmer.

Our best memory of the place will be spending the afternoon in the covered outdoor hotub, sipping the fruits of our sampling labours, whilst the rain hammered down outside. Pure bliss!
