Well organized and presented exhibits cover two floors. Several interactive exhibits. Informative and educational. And the small indoor garden is beautiful.

This Museum used to be situated next to the Sports Arena but is now housed in Te Manawa Museum so you can now find it a lot easier and enjoy both museums at the same time or browse around the Art Gallery next door. Even if you are not into Rugby you will enjoy the collection. It is amazing the amount of memorabilia that is here. Since it has been relocated the layout is a lot better and volunteer staff on duty are very helpful. When I last visited it was a bonus as they had some of the Worlds top cups on loan but even without them there is a lot to see and a visit should not be rushed.

I really enjoyed my visit to the NZ rugby museum. I never ceased to be amazed when I come across an amazing collection of NZ rugby history. It would be a sad loss to Palmerston North if it was not continued to be maintained

What a cracking museum this is once you actually find it! Our Sat Nav had problems navigating us to it although eventually we saw some street signs and used them to get us to the right place.

I thought it would have been bigger than it was but they certainly cram a lot into the space there is! The early years stuff was interesting enough to look through but it was more the 70’s onwards things that I paid more attention to as that is what I am more familiar with/interested in.
