You can park near the entrance to the motor camp like we did and walk or just park in the esplanade itself,Plenty of parking available. Walk along the river walkway and up through one of the many paths around. Plenty of toilets around and very wheelchair friendly in most places.
Rose garden area just super with plenty of lawn area for the kids to run around.
Love the hot house with the fantastic selection of plants and little waterfall and yes you can now take someone here in a wheel chair. Plenty of seating available and lots of birds to look at and l know the Bird Aviary area is looking a little run down but l think its supposed to be getting an upgrade.A nice cafe to stop off and have a cuppa or just bring a picnic lunch down or have a barbecue.
A fantastic place to be anytime but in the summer even better and with the play area for the kids and the train rides in the weekends and holidays you could spend quite a few hours here easily.
