“What a great find this place is - beautiful location and great food.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 November 2013

This is a must stop cafe if you are traveling down to Coromandel area. The food is great, the location beautiful with the farmland and garden setting. The shop is lovely too with neat NZ kitchenware/home decor. The cafe is in a old villa so there are different rooms to sit in - made it seem so lovely. They have done a great job. Food great too!!

“Spoilt for choice”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 October 2013

Plenty of parking and nice places to sit either inside or out. Many choices of food and good coffee. Having eaten here many times I was somewhat disappointed with the Eggs Benedict which were served on a cold plate and with a layer of uncooked spinach leaves. Sadly not my best experience here but I will be back to continue sampling the other goodies.

“Great place to stop”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 September 2013

This is a great little cafe to stop at for a break between Auckland and Coromandel or Tauranga. Clean, handy and excellent food, all baked on the premises. Their date scones are the best anywhere, and the coffee is excellent. Well worth a visit.

“Excellent food in a lovely country cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 August 2013

The Woodturners Cafe is a great place to stop for coffee or lunch. We often stop here en route to and from Auckland.
The food is great, the service is great, the country cottage or the outdoor tables are all quaint, clean and tidy. There also is a variety of gifts available for sale. Plenty of parking too.
