Stopped for coffee break on way to Ak and way back home. Both times food home made and very tasty. The steak and blue pie was yum! Sandwiches made with bread made on site - scrumptious! Slices too are made on site and very moreish! Well made coffee too. Surroundings are quaint. Well worth the stop highly recommend to all.

We stopped here recently for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. The young staff were pleasant and quick though the cafe was busy. There was a tempting selection in the cabinet but we opted for eggs benedict which came on bagels topped with baby spinach with lemon hollandaise on the side and a generous serve of bacon. The coffee was so good we both ordered a second. It's a quirky little place with different rooms to eat in - well worth visit when in the area.

First time we stopped here and was pleasantly surprised: Lovely coffee, and a good range of food to choose from,: A selection of jams and chutneys for sale as well as kitchen accessories; good service and a pleasant stop on your way to your destination;

On various trips to Auckland I have seen this place develop. Finally stopped today and although we only had coffee I would definitely stop again for a meal. It is well decorated, love the little rooms, liked the different things to buy and the variety of types of furniture.
