We stayed for a week in the two bedroom cottage, an ideal size for us (2 couples and a baby). The property is well setup with plenty to do on site and warm and welcoming hosts. Great advice on things to do locally and also with the loan of equipment for collecting mussels at Te Mata Point and for visiting Hot Water Beach. The river is fantastic with several swimming/kayaking spots. A great place for a family getaway, well placed for visiting the Coromandel Peninsula but plenty to do on-site.
Visit the Tapu store for great value ice creams with a wide range of Tip Top Flavours.
