What a special evening. We ate here for our 32nd wedding anniversary. From the time we arrived the service was exemplary. We were made to feel at home and important the whole time we were there. We enjoyed flavorsome well cooked and presented food. Hubby was so impressed he left a tip, something he hasn't done anywhere else since I met him! We loved the atmosphere here, from the wedding reception taking place in a room nearby, to the couple practicing outside for their upcoming nuptials, and the beautiful building, the food, the staff, all of it.

We went to Anndionce Restaurant for our family Christmas dinner and ordered off the A la Carte menu. The waitress was a delight to deal with and very friendly and down to earth. My parents both had the scallops and I had the mussells for our starters. The scallops were huge and both parents said that they were brilliant and succulent. My mussells were so sweet and fresh in a lovely wine and garlic broth that i wished that I had a big pile of bread to enjoy every last drop.
The mains were great as well with my Dad having the lambshanks, Mum had the stuffed chicken breast and I had the pork belly. All the mains were ample, well cooked and super tasty with plenty of veges/salads to go with it. Desserts were equally brilliant with pavlova, chocolate cake and various ice creams to sample. The portions are really good sizes and no one complained about being hungry afterwards. We will be going back again....and again.
Well done to Ann and Dion for giving Wanganui a different restaurant with great food!

We ate here when we stayed at Anndion Lodge & we were not disappointed. The food is wonderful & the service matches. You cannot go a miss if you eat here. They cater happily to all dietary needs & nothing is too much trouble.
