We arrived in Greymouth and drove around looking at the different motels and we weren't sold until we stopped at this motel. We were very impressed. The manager was very friendly and helpful and did what ever he could to accommodate our needs. My partner and myself stayed in a one bedroom unit. It was very spacious and the spa bath was huge! Definalety a highlight. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. We also got use the communal room and this had a fire place where we could sit and relax with the couple we were travelling around with. One of the best places we stayed in New Zealand and we would highly recommend!

Our 2 bedroom apartment at the Coleraine Motel was super spacious and came with an attached spa bath and a fully equipped kitchen. The quality of the fittings and toiletries was superb. The motel is situated on the main road but the double glass windows cut out the noise allowing for a peaceful interior. The motel has ample parking. With not much to do in Greymouth we had a relaxing time in the spa bath. We were upgraded to the spa bath unit by the owner, Russel, who is a very friendly & helpful man. I would highly recommend Coleraine Motel on your next visit to Greymouth.

We were greeted very warmly by Russel. He helped us with maps and things to do in Grey Mouth. The two bed room apartment was on the first floor. It was splendid and beautiful:) loved it's interiors! It was no less than a five star apartment! The rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom was huge, clean and had a spa unit which was superb in the cold weather! ( at no extra price). The kitchen had all the basic facilities and was well equipped. We stayed only for one night as we were heading to Queenstown but it was a place worth staying for a few days if u jus wana relax. Russel had a lot movies available if u wana see. Overall a highly recommendable place, loved it:) worth the money surely!

What a lovely motel. New/fresh/clean and comfortable. Very comfy bed, Bathroom was lovely with wonderful water pressure and the spa bath was lovely too. Glad we found this motel on the internet. We highly recommend a stay there. We only stayed one night but could not complain about anything. The lady in the office, think here name is Sonia was very pleasant.

We stayed in the Coleraine Motel Greymouth on our way to Queenstown. The room was clean, modern and spacious with a well appointed kitchenette. The Motel is close to local shops and accross from the road from a tavern that serves great meals $25-$30. Best of all, the guys managing the motel were just so helpful and their local and (honest advice) was really appreciated and they made us feel very welcome. This motel put some of the more expensive and larger chain Hotels we stayed in during our tour of NZ, to shame. :-)

Room Tip: If you need some local knowlegde, ask the managers they will do their best to help.

Nice modern clean room, comfy bed. Great bathroom and a very good water pressure in the shower which we enjoyed after a long drive. Lovely smelling shampoo and soaps. Well-equipped kitchenette. We loved the quality of water in Greymouth - it's so good-tasting we filled our drinking bottles for the next day. We arrived to the Colerain Motel on Good Friday on a rainy day after a big storm has just passed the West Coast. We were warmly greeted by Russell and the check-in was quick and efficient. We were given a map and recommendations of places to eat. We chose to drive up the main road and went to a nice little Indian cafe. On our return to the motel we've noticed that out room was directly above the communal little hall/meeting room. As there were a few people there meeting for drinks it became noisy a little later on but was not too bad. The motel is located on the main road and we thought the traffic noise may be a problem but the road was basically deserted at night so we slept with our windows open and had no problems.

We recently stayed in this motel which would have to be as good as many five star hotels. Just the very best of experiences. What a pleasure. Thankyou. Plenty of car parking and an easy walk to a super market down the road.Walk in to Greymouth without any difficulty and wifi available for those who need to keep in touch.
