Decor inside was nice, very spacious, almost bare. Plenty of space around each table to make it feel private.

Very good service, quick and friendly. Cabinet food looked good and was plenty of choice. The menu was also comprehensive and what you'd expect of a good place for breakfast.

The eggs on my eggs benedict were quite small and ever so slightly overdone, although still gooey. The hollandaise sauce was tasty although fairly sure it was out of a bottle. The muffins weren't toasted at all unfortunately and therefore the dish lacked the textural element it needed, although it was accompanied by very tasty hash browns.

The soup was literally boiling when it came out. It had been heated in the microwave, which is definitely not what was expected. Took a good ten-fifteen minutes for it to become edible, at which point it was tasty, but not the best.

The coffee was horrible, they use Cafe L'Affaire beans, which aren't very good, and perhaps the barista was partly to blame.

The place was clean and comfortable and the overall experience was pleasant despite a few hiccups with the food and coffee.

cafe decor seems kind of bare but the staff and atmosphere is very friendly.

I went here for lunch. Location is very central in the Greymouth Town Centre.

I ordered a coffee (long black), a juice and fish and chips. All came very quickly considering how busy they were. The coffee and the juice were pretty generic. The fish and chips however was maybe below average. The pieces of fish were nice but the salad seemed old like it had been prepared the day before and the pieces of lemon seemed like they were a few days old. Prices were reasonable but the salad let the meal down.

Had lunch here during the layover of our Tranzalpine rail trip. It is upstairs in an old building that I thought had a lot of art deco flair. There were quite a few people eating there who appeared to be locals. My wife had a grilled sandwich with a selection of items you could choose. I had the seafood chowder. We did not have to wait long for our food, we both enjoyed what we ordered and the staff was friendly.
