What a fantastic place for kids to learn about our marine life.
My son is only 3.5 years old, but we spent just under an hour in the aquarium, the highlight for him was the dark bioluminescent UV room with the sea life painted around the walls.
He also kept returning to the two touch tanks, where you can feel a variety of living animals, such as cushion starfish and anemones and liked counting the sea urchins and of course loved the shark tank too!
They sell a great fold out brochure for identifying different seaweed, shells etc as you head out on the beach.
Yes it is $10 entry for an adult, but HELLO - where else can you get this hands on experience, created by a very passionate marine biologist?! Who knows - it could shape your own childrens career path?!
Please support this awesome venture, I don't often make extra effort to make reviews, it is worth it.
