There are lot more values!!

Staying in this lavender farm has been on our to-do list since 2012.

At last, we did it.

We spent another half hour after our stay.
Corry is so kind to share us with her experiences.
She is so kind to offer advice for visit in the region.
We also love those lavender product and ... great values, no doubt about it.

Do have a coffee/tea or look around in the shop.

We will return for visits for sure. :)

We spent two weeks travelling around the South Island of NZ and this was hands down, the best place we stayed. The owners were generous and helpful and the cottages themselves picturesque and comfy with gorgeous lavender rows near the accomodation.

Each day we were greeted with freshly baked bread which was delicious as well as a fridge stocked with juice, eggs, and a selection of cereals.

The only addition I would suggest would be a DVD player and selection available for hire / ipod deck in each cottage- we really missed this on the cold nights when we just wanted to stay in and watch a movie. Otherwise, a fantastic stay!

Booked for 2 nights but had to stay one night in each - so we really did get the best of both worlds. The outside facilities beat the spa bath hands down. The location and hospitality were also excellent. The whales and seal pups were a bonus. Great place

A short way inland from Kaikoura, but a lovely tranquil spot with a beautiful setting for the comfortable little cottages amongst the trees and lavender gardens. Lovely hosts, and the homemade bread deserves all the praise in the other reviews!
Unfortunately we didn't see any Whales on our trip out on the water, but we went quadbiking the next day instead (Glenstrae Farm), which was a brilliant day out - highly recommended. Also recommend a trip to the White Morph in town for dinner.

We loved this little hideaway. Jan was so welcoming and helpful, we were able to have our whale watching trip booked as we arrived too late. The outside bath was a treat and we loved all the small touches that made this very special from the lavender honey to the fresh eggs and bread. We only wish our stay could've been longer allowing us to tour the magnificent gardens.

This was probably the best place we stayed in during our whole trip. The lavender products in the cottage are great, the fresh bread and scones for breakfast along with the fresh eggs and juice were a great touch. Nothing was too much trouble and Corrie's hospitality was excellent. We did the Whale Watching trip which is expensive but good and don't miss the seal pups playing at Oahu waterfalls, it's free to visit and the pups just swim and play a few feet from where you can watch, the climb up to the walk at the peninsular is steepish to start with but it's all paved and stepped and the views from the walk are stunning, allow a couple of hours so that you can stop and take lots of pictures!

We stayed in Mahoe Cottage, which was small but very comfortable and charming. I just loved the outdoor bath. The hosts were wonderful and very friendly, providing home baked goodies and fresh eggs for breakfast. It was a really unusual setting to be on a working lavender farm. It was so relaxing just wandering round the gardens. I quite liked being out of the town, which can be a bit of a tourist trap. And it was only a ten minute drive into town.
