A nice upscale restaurant on the Kaikoura waterfront and attached to a hotel with a similar name. My wife raved about her salmon which is very good considering she cooks her own mean fish. I enjoyed my chowder; nice mix of seafood and soup. I had a local wine and half a cray (aka lobster). Bill came in at NZ$118 a tad high for us as we are used to whole lobsters at $5-10/lb.
