“Loads of splash and laughter.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2014

The eco-friendly water park is a combination of educational facts and exhibits alongside fabulous water fountains, jets and spouts. The park is a zero-depth water attraction, that is there are no pools, all the water fun is provided by the spraying/pouring of water. On the day of my visit there were very few people enjoying the facility as it was a little cool and breezy, but on a hot day the park is full of activity and children having fun. There is ample car parking and table and chairs under the shade of a large old tree.

“Fantastic for Free!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

The kids had a fantastic time here, so relaxing for the parents too, as plenty of seating to watch the kids run around through the water fountains, they had great fun.
We went later in the day, as it gets pretty busy there. Then on the Friday evening they had a light show, you can't go in the water while its on, but they have all the fountains dancing to the music, the whale lights up, etc, it was really lovely to see, definitely worth a look.

“can't beat free”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 May 2014

The kids loved playing in the water (for free!) during the day. We wanted to stay for the evening light show, but there isn't anywhere nearby to eat. (We were visiting the town and did not have a rental car, so getting anywhere far would have required a taxi.) Ultimately, we walked to a grocery store (that closed at 5pm!) and grabbed a few items and called it dinner. We made our way back for the light show but had to wait almost an hour. In the end, the light show was OK but definitely not something I would do again given the circumstances (no restaurant nearby, having to make do and wait).

“Great free attraction, check the hours”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2014

A free water park with lots of seating and separated play areas for the little and big kids. The opening hours seem unusually restricted, e.g. opening at on 12PM on Tuesday during school holidays, so check the web site before you go, however the park is staffed when it is open. There is also a surfing machine hidden behind the main play area where you can try out surfing for only $6 (don't worry, everyone wipes out in the end!).
