“Get some and tea and coffee facilities in the room!”
Reviewed 2 November 2013

Reasonable hotel, good location for the airport for onwards trips and a handy shuttle bus. However, what I find reprehensible is the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. Waking up with a raging thirst and finding the mini bar empty is not solved by drinking tap water.

Nice place, but please please, take a little time to just add those little extras.

Friendly check in once working out the shuttle bus has only limited operating hours and didn't have a clue how to walk to the hotel (plan ahead if arriving in the afternoon before 6pm).

Room had a bit of a smell of drains when I first went in but you got used to it and then didn't notice.

Had a steak at the bar which was good with a local beer.

Shuttle in the morning worked well but it was very full, I suggest not turning up at the last minute.

I don't understand to poor reviews. The hotel was clean, had comforatable beds and most importantly friendly staff and a great breakfast included! It was a 15 minute walk from the airport and big discount in price from the Hilton and they have a free shuttle (I couldnt use the shuttle because of my awkward airport times). I would reccomend anyone stay here if using it as an airport hotel as I don't know how it works for visiting Copenhagen.

You need 5 minutes drive after renting a car or you have a shuttle.
If you arrive late, it's a good place and you can stay in a correct hotel, welcomed by friendly people.
For the rest the hotel is standard, some points could be reviewed but in general it's really ok.
Breakfast is OK, and you will a lot of people.

This hotel was adequate in every way. We just needed a place close to the airport the night before our return flight to California. I checked us in and returned the rental car to the airport, then walked back to the hotel. I must have taken the long way, because it took me 25 minutes. It was too far to roll our big suit cases and carry-ons, so we took the airport shuttle to the airport the next morning. I had read reviews about the hotel and the shuttle service. The advice was correct. Since it only runs every 30 minutes in the morning, and there are no reservations, sit by the door in the lobby 15 minutes before your preferred time to be sure to get on. I would stay again at this hotel.

We stayed 3 nights and walked from the airport in less than 15 minutes, so unless you have a lot of luggage you don't need the courtesy bus. Just go over the motorway on the pedestrian bridge that you see when you come out of the terminal, and you are on the right street. Otherwise it is just 1 Metro stop. The Metro is east to use to get into the City , and just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We bought a Copenhagen card and collected it from the airport and it was well worth the money. We used the metro, buses, visited 8 museums, had a canal boat tour and even a train trip to see Hamlet's Castle. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and surprisingly there is no aircraft noise as planes come in to land over the sea, however it was a bit warm at night so we had to keep the window open, (but the weather was unusually warm for the time of year) Breakfast was great with plenty of choice, from 5.30 to 10am. We ate at the Italian Restaurant round the corner on the first night - lovely, We walked to the harbour and beach on the last night, (follow the signs for the aquarium from the Metro) and saw a couple of lovely places to eat there too, but our budget was tight so we got a takeaway. Not 5 star, but for the price and location you can't go wrong.

Looking for a one night airport stopover, we chose this hotel because it was half the price of the Hilton which is located directly at the airport terminal.

Despite the 4Km distance from the airport, we were comforted by a free courtesy bus. However the courtesy bus only runs between around 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock in the morning and likewise again around the same periods in the evening (check for exact timings). It does however run continuous during these periods. We therefore had to take a taxi as it was 10PM.

On arrival at this old 1960s block we were courteously greeted at reception and grabbed a beer in the rather dull and dated bar area.

There is nothing in the surrounding area except residential apartments, however there are a few shops and a Netto supermarket opposite for provisions.

Lift to all floors, the corridors are a little prison cell like with the bedroom doors opening outwards onto the corridor. Room keys were electronic.

Rooms were clean but exceptionally basic. No safe or ironing board, the wardrobe was minuscule, however rooms were spacious enough to store suitcases.

No a/c and the radiator was difficult to control.

Room comprised: expensive minibar with nibbles, phone, flat screen TV, desk with chair, reading lights and a very basic but clean bathroom with over bath shower and 'sticky' shower curtain. Shower mixer tap was a little hit & miss, so was either too hot or too cold. A fixed hairdryer was available and basic toiletries with soap / shower gel via wall mounted dispensers

Breakfast room was again a little basic in decor but functional. The hot & cold buffet offered a wide and plentiful choice of well prepared food and drinks and opened at 5:30AM, to accommodate airport passengers.

Large chargeable car parking on site. Reasonable transport links to Copenhagen centre.

In summary, a cheaper (but still not cheap for the standard) overnight stopover but not a place I would of wished to stay longer.
