The greeting was professional.The room was clean .The price for Wifi was excessive and could only purchase is a 24hr block .Which was not help full as we checked out at 4 am .We could hear the adjoining room clearly, which when getting up at 3 am was very hard to sleep through.Nice and close to airport and couldn't hear planes leaving or arriving

Hotel’s design was extremely conscious of the noise factor from outside and within the hotel for our guests’ comfort. So it is very concerning to hear about the noise issue during your stay with us.

We had a very nice experience at this hotel- some factors made it plainly easy. We toured New Zealand by car for 3 days, racing from one town to the next, finally arriving at the Auckland airport for one final night before a 7am flight to Australia. We were exhausted. When we arrived at the hotel, which was a few feet from our 7am departure terminal, we sank into seats at the hotel restaurant. We ate filets and drank red wine. We were in heaven. The hotel is very well designed and our room inspired us on some new millwork details for our new home in Miami. It was a perfect experience.

Having just returned from Shanghai, Europe and Singapore, to find that we had to pay for Wifi connection was a shock. If the majority of your guests are business people, then they can add the cost of Wifi to their expenses, but to holiday guests it's too much to ask. We were told that you know about this because of several mentions of it on feedback on TripAdvisor. Perhaps one day the hotel may change it's policy. We arrived very late and left early the next day, so didn't eat at the hotel. Bathroom "kinky". One could sit on the bed and look through into the bathroom, and then through to someone on the toilet. Gave me a laugh. Shock to drink Nescafe Coffee when we had had such strong beautiful coffee in Europe. Hotel room perfectly quiet and very nicely decorated. Great to be so close to the International Airport.

I certainly understand your view on the internet. It is one of the biggest challenge we have at the hotel, and furthermore for the company. As you have noted on the comment, we are gathering all feedbacks received related to internet and working towards a better solution for the near future.

Concerning the bathroom. For twin rooms, we have privacy screen installed to cover up the frosted window area.

After a long haul, this hotel is in a very convenient location only 70 metres from the International Terminal arrival hall. Good standard in the rooms but I do think its a little pricey for what you get. For example the shower is designed badly - the water runs away from the drain and onto the bathroom floor. Another thing we found was not as expected was the simplicity of the food available outside "normal business hours". For a hotel promoting themselves as a high quality service provider I would have expected more especially on the international front. Lastly I do think the staff could benefit from a refresher in customer service when it comes to body language. We did not really feel the love one would expect - its only small things like making eye contact and showing enthusiasm that the customer selected their hotel. All in all a good option but it is not worth the full rate they are asking so make sure you go on Wotif or similar to get discounted rates.

As a fairly frequent guest at this hotel I can honestly say I never have any doubts that the welcome and service will be totally professional and friendly.
The restaurant food is always interesting and varied. Rooms are scrupulously clean with the most comfortable beds and very quiet.The location of the hotel is prefect for catching international flights.

It was on our last evening in New Zealand that we stayed at the Novotel at Auckland International Airport. I was delighted when I saw that it was directly opposite the International terminal. The check-in was quick and got a room on the 8th floor. Room was comfortable and had a nice view of the airport apron.

We ate in the restaurant downstairs and the gnocchi was very tasty however the portion size was a bit too large for me. Might be nice to offer a starter/main version of this dish as pasta can be very filling.
The room had a very nice dual style power shower and nice products.

Lots of tea and coffee supplies in the room also - ideal for tired travellers who need a few cups of tea to cope with leaving this wonderful country.

Had a good sleep here, maybe the air conditioning could go another 2 degrees colder which would further improve this very nice hotel. Overall a very comfortable stay. The 11am checkout is very generous as most NZ hotels we stayed in had a 10am checkout.

The only down side once again with Novotel is their Wifi policy, no free internet available even though I am an Accor club member and there is a charge for Internet apart from that. The hotel lies between 4 and 5 TA stars.... I would have given 5 stars if WiFi was free!
