Wonderful, relaxing, gorgeous! Janet & Tim made us feel at home in their gorgeous B&B... Our room was large, pretty, comfortable & relaxing. Perfect walking distance to the shops and to the center of New Zealand... which we hiked up to fueled by the most incredible hearty breakfast! We couldn't bring ourselves to leave so we stayed an additional night! Janet & Tim were the perfect hosts & gave us some amazing tips for the rest of our journey visiting the South Island... We'll be back!

Thank you for your kind review, Tim and I are so pleased that you not only enjoyed the breakfasts and the room but the location as well. It is nice just to walk the 10 min. into town for all the restaurants, especially if you have had a long driving day and want a glass of wine with dinner, no need to drive. We both hope that you will return in the future.

Great place with gorgeous rooms, the electrical blankets made our stay even warmer. The owners were extremely friendly and waiting for us even though we arrived late. The beautiful breakfast made us feel like royals.

Thank you for your kind review. I am glad you liked the electric blankets, certainly makes getting into the bed on a cool night a lot nicer. I thought your 'pun' about being treated as royalty in our 'royal' dining room was good, hope you come and visit again.

Our touring agency chose this B&B and we were so happy they did! We had the Brookview room which was our own piece of heaven! The room was large and very well appointed..and the large tub was a special treat. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very helpful. Highly recommended!

We stayed here with our London based daughter and her fiance during a tour of the South Island. Definitely the most comfortable and interesting accommodation on our travels. Janet and Tim are the consummate hosts, ensuring everything was exactly 'just right' during our stay. The house is a delight with every possible comfort thought of and a delicious breakfast to start the day.We have no hesitation in recommending this superb B & B.

My husband and I highly recommend Baywick Inn! This was, by far, one of the best bed and breakfasts that we have ever visited. Everything was spectacular, from the lovely restored home to the amazingly accommodating hospitality of our hosts.

This was a beautiful 1840's house which has been lovingly restored and has an amazing homely feel. The room we had was huge with a fabulous bathroom and balcony overlooking the geographic centre of NZ. Janet and Tim was very genuine friendly hosts with a wealth of advice and they provided a delicious breakfast with a good choice of hot or cold or both! We would certainly return to this B&B if we went to NZ again as not only was the B&B a fantastic place to stay Nelson itself was a lovely town and Abel Tasman park and other beautiful scenic areas were only a short drive away.

I am so glad that you enjoyed our 1880's restored home, in 'sunny' Nelson. We too think that Nelson is quite an interesting and pretty town. The waterfront and beach is gorgeous, the river walks are very pleasant and with Abel Tasman park so close,it provides great walks and fabulous kayaking. Tim and I both hope that you will return one day to enjoy even more things that Nelson and the area have to offer, thanks again,Janet

If you visit Nelson this is the place to stay! Janet and Tim are exceptional hosts. Lots of unexpected touches that made this stay unforgettable! The breakfasts were so good we turned our eating day upside down to make this the main meal of the day.
