Spoil yourself in luxurious, self-contained apartments with the most stunning views of the bay of Russell. The rooms are well equipped and private. All guests have access to a launch with more stunning views. Guests also have a choice to have breakfast provided.
Excellent and helpful host make every stay an unforgettable experience. This B&B is highly recommended to overseas visitors.

We had the most wonderful time at the Bellrock. The accommodation is first class, the location and the views from the apartment were unsurpassed but the most important thing was the hospitality of our hosts. Lorraine and Peter welcomed us like long lost family, shared a lavish guests entrée spread with us introducing us to the local oysters and smoked salmon. The courtesy service to and from the ferry dock when we were loaded with bags or shopping was an added bonus. Don't miss the chance to spoil yourself at the Bellrock, even in our 60's we could enjoy a little of the luxuries in life.

Room Tip: All the rooms face the water view and the apartment doors open full width to include the balcony in...

Lorraine and Pete was the friendliest host you could ask for - the room was more than comfortable with an enormous bed. Heating is easy according to the weather with the heat pump/air-conditioner, electric blankets if needed. The welcome drinks and nibbles was delicious and the company outstanding - great time to share your life stories! all the rooms has a gorgeous view and it is close to everything - you could walk to the ferry to spend a day in Paihia and all the restaurants in Russel is in walking distance. If you don't want to go out for dinner the room has a kitchenette with everything in it to make a nice dinner that you can enjoy on your own deck drinking in the sunset. Don't miss out on a visit to Bellrock lodge

My husband and I were fortunate enough to stay three wonderful days at Bellrock Lodge. We echo all the compliments in previous reviews. The rooms are spotless, the beds are comfortable and the views amazing. The rooms are furnished with care and warmth, with bathroom and kitchenette equipped with everything one could need. Our hosts, Lorraine and Peter, extended marvellous hospitality and generosity, both in furnishing our room with the little extras and with their 'Welcome Drinks Evening' which was a highlight of our stay.
Highly Recommended!

I can't add to the other reviews. They are all absolutely accurate in their praise.
The sundowner that Peter and Lorraine turned on was the highlight of our one month stay in New Zealand.
Just ask Peter where to eat. They only recommend the restaurants that they have sampled

Room Tip: all the rooms were the same and all of a high standard

All the glowing reviews of Bellrock Lodge are absolutely true. We stayed 6 nights in April and had a lovely time staying in Russell at Bellrock Lodge. Lorraine knows the best places to visit, sights to see and restaurants to eat at, and also can take care of any bookings or reservations needed, so there is no need to research this area in advance - often local knowledge is best! And there is no need to pack bath robes, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel or body lotion - all provided and all beautiful quality. Tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits were enjoyed as well. The room was so comfortable, the views spectacular and the bathroom spacious and immaculate. Everything was perfect, but especially Lorraine's "welcome drinks evenings" - do not miss these, even if you've been traveling all day and feel exhausted. Lorraine provides such a warm and genuine welcome and we had the best time and lots of fun - not to mention the huge oysters and amazing smoked salmon - so I think number 1 of Things to Do In Russell should read - Stay at Bellrock Lodge so you can experience Lorraine's Welcome Drinks Evening. Thank you Lorraine for a wonderful stay!!!

Room Tip: All room excellent
