This morning my partner and I visited the Hastings Farmers Market for the first time.
The market is easy to find and has plenty of parking. The parking is free for all and it may be easier to park on the street.
It rained today and there is minimal shelter. There are toliets there which were in good condition and there is a portable ATM there. It pays to bring cash
With you as the queues to the ATM were long.
This market does have food for purchase, however, there was not a huge selection. Be prepared to wait a long time for your food. We waited 20 minutes for crepes and 15 minutes for coffee.
This market is good to visit, however, it is definitely not comparable to the Wellington waterfront markets.
