Such a pleasure to notice there are still beautiful things to see without paying a lot. You can drive all the way up (even with a mobile home, if you do some effort) and park there for free. Then it's only a 10 minute walk to the amazing viewpoint over Las Medulas. There's a possibility to enter the caves inside the hills, but if you want to do that you should check the opening hours.

Perfect place to spend a day. Especially the mirador de oréllan and the galleria de oréllan were really beautiful. Definitely go inside the caves. They cost 3€ but you must do it! The way up is steep and it is hot there so put on some good shoes and take some water with you.

One of the best landscapes in the word in my opinion, for sure one of the best I've ever seen. A perfect mix of history and nature, just walk down there on those beautiful red hills.

Amazing nature at it's best! We loved the views and it is maintained well and I was happy to see that it wasn't all yoo crowded with tourists.

The site per se it's nothing if you don't like both nature and history.

It requires a special dose of physical training, especially if you go for the long path and good trainers otherwise you will be missing the beauty of this ancient Roman site once used for gold extraction.

The place has been nominated an UNESCO's site in 1997.
