We stayed here for 3days and on our 2nd nite we found ourselves waking up to a evacuation message coming through the room at 2.30 in the morning most people evacuated out to the front entrance waiting for instructions and waiting there was no staff members to assist and no one to check the head count and to make sure that every one was out of the units the resort manager turned up about 15 minutes later in his car he didn't no what was going on and was running around like a headless chook giving out no information at all and when the alarm was turned off everyone just went back to their unit still not knowing what was going on and then the fire brigade arrived to check out a unit so we presumed it was a fire people were very angry and upset that no communication was Avaliable and no help on hand at all as we are by the beach it may have been a tidal wave as we have been through a couple of disasters similar to this we are very concerned with the slap happy attitude of this resort we approach the girls in the office one thought it was a great joke haha and the other wouldnt have a clue and said she didn't no as she wasn't here at that time but claimed to be the resort manger as well but she also said they didn't have to give out any information at the time of the evacuation and they weren't fire officers and couldn't say if there was a fire or not
We find this a very serious problem because there are a lot of people here and resort staff with no clue what to do in an emergency situation and if a real disaster happens patrons would be in big trouble I don't feel safe here hence never coming back u no a disaster can happen anytime any place we no it's happened to us
Please read this it's scary but true

Great deals for 1 night to 7 plus! Right across the road from the beach and surrounded by lovely eateries this is a good family spot. Undercover parking secured overnight and lift access which is essential for the three level accommodation.

Stayed in a one bedroom apartment on the third floor and couldn't have been happier. Great beach views, very quiet, and everything you could possibly need. There is secure parking. The one bedroom apartment had a full kitchen, washing machine, spa, aircon, a fantastic balcony with beach views. These apartments are close to restaurants, shops, beach and a small cafe/restaurant downstairs to grab my coffee from in the mornings, although disappointed that it was closed on Monday. The staff are helpful and all things considered had a great stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the third floor at the back.

Heartily recommend this apartment complex and particularly the apartments to the rear which are very quiet. Office staff are very helpful with good connections to affordable rental company in Maroochydore. Kitchen is most adequate to cook own meals with food supplied from local Supermarket only 10 mins walk away. The older one gets the more one appreciate the quiet of the Sunshine Coast as compared to the younger "buzz" of the Gold Coast.

Room Tip: Rooms to the rear are very quiet.

we had visitors arrive at short notice whm we could not accommodate in our home so we contacted beach retreat who provided us with an excellent solution. A great selection of restaurants within walking distance and the beach was a 2 min walk

Room Tip: choose room with beach views and on the second/third floor

Stayed for just one night. The facilities are great and staff friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Stayed in a 1 bedroom studio and it had plenty of room and a great view of the ocean. Will be back for sure.
