It is very seldom we have takeaways but having eaten at this restaurant before and staying with friends who live and work in Coolum we decided to eat in and have a Indian takeaway. We ordered our food for 6.30pm 2 lamb kormas and a beef vindaloo with pappadams paying a hefty $74.00. We arrived on time and received our food immediately. On opening the containers to find that they were cold and mainly sauce with little meat, that the pappadams had not been properly cooked. It would have been 5 minutes after picking up our order. It was the Easter holiday weekend so what has a poor tourist to expect,The restaurant was not busy, we were throughly disappointed with this service.
Our friends rang the restaurant to complain with no concern from the young lady who answered the phone.

Not the best ambience, but the food and service were very good.
Our selections were all flavoursome and good sized servings.
The onion bahjis were more like an onion ring, with crisp light spicy batter, not a glob of bahji like some places serve, very nice.
It is byo ( there is a bottle shop next door) with no corkage charge.
Two of us shared one entrée, two mains, rice and excellent garlic nan and the bill came in at $50 which we thought was reasonable.
We left sated, but not stuffed and were happy customers.

We got a takeaway from here between 6 of us. 4 curries and a couple of entrées was more than enough, the rice came free. The curries were all awesome and the entrées were delicious, particularly the onion bahjis. We also got some popadoms and dips which were also lovely. So all in all, a great curry night in Coolum. Would highly recommend, thank you.

We were surprised that there are 2 choices when it comes to Indian Food in Coolum and decided to give Garam Masala a go....

It was New Years day and we didn't know what options would be available so we phoned ahead to make a booking so that we didn't go hungry at dinner time. They didn't charge additional because it was New Years day so that was impressive.

The food was delicious and had the most amazing flavours.... it was great to sit outdoors in the summer warmth and enjoy lovely Indian food. The staff were helpful and friendly.
