“Excellent Stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 January 2013

I have stayed at several places at Coolum over the years but this was by far the best. It may have been a little bit pricier then others however not significant and well worth the extra dollars.

Being super keen to start my weeks holiday I called on the off chance to see if I could check in earlier. Shane (property manager) answered the call and was very friendly and very helpful - I was able to check in an hour earlier. Great start to the Holidays.

The apartment was a great size - very spacious and was extremely clean. We had a two bedroom unit with two bathrooms. It was fantastic.

Even on check out, property managers were super friendly.

I will be definately staying here again next Christmas and possibly even sooner.

Thank you for your review.
Our apartments are very spacious, which is just wonderful for families on holidays. The apartments do not feel cramped at all and the second bedroom and bathroom are away from the main suite and lounge.
The complex was originally built to be residential, but became a mixture of residential and holiday letting.
Shane is always very helpful and will assist in any way he can with requests.
We look forward to seeing you next Christmas or sooner if you can make it.
Kind regards
Shirley

My partner and i stayed here for 2 nights at the start of December. The pool was lovely and heated and our 1 bedroom apartment was extremely spacious featuring 2 balconies. The rooms were very modern and had exactly what we needed. The resort is featured above cafe's, shops and about a 6-8 minute walk from the beach. Overall it was an enjoyable stay and i would recommend it if staying in Coolum

Room Tip: If you can try and choose a room on an upper level facing the ocean. We had an upper level however w...

Thank you, Alana, for your review.
We are so well located here in the heart of Coolum Beach, with all of the facilities within easy walking distance.
The pool heater was new this year and is so good - makes it possible to swim all year round.
We look forward to welcoming you back again.

Stayed here with my partner for 5 nights and was very impressed with location- close to cafes, shops and beach! Had amazing weather. also if you have a car only a short drive to noosa and other small beaches too. Staff were very friendly and helpful as they allowed us a late check in at very late notice. Beautiful pool, rooms are very modern and big. The only down side for us was our view from the balcony of a petrol station (didn't bother us too much as we were always out and about) and our bathroom didn't have any windows or fan so there was no air circulating through. We will definitely be coming back and recommending element to friends!

Thank you for your review.
We try to arrange for perfect weather for everyone, unfortunately that doesn't always happen...but mostly it us just gorgeous here. We are working on the petrol station, but that is out of our control.
There is a wet ventilation system for the bathrooms, but you are right, there is not a window for a breeze.
Thank you for the kind words and recommendations.

Shirley

We stayed 3 nights in a massive 2 br apartment. The property is in a nice location with lots of eateries nearby (particularly enjoyed the Thai and the Gelato very close by - both of which give discounts to guests). The airconditioning system in our massive apartment struggled as the lounge area would be freezing in order for the bedrooms to get cool, but most of this problem was overcome by using the very effective ceiling fans instead. The pool was lovely and very well kept.

Thank you for your review.
Yes, it is a real bonus having such great restaurants and shops in our retail precinct - means once you get here you don't need to drive anywhere.
All of our apartments are individually owned and some owners have chosen to duct the air-conditioning into the bedrooms after they bought their apartment, but otherwise the air-conditioning which is individually controlled in each apartment is in the main living areas.
We look forward to having you stay with us again.

Shirley

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at this resort. It was disappointing to find we had been locked out of the main bedroom facing the pool and had to sleep in the 2nd room facing the road opposite a bowling club. This meant the noise was considerable and we could never have the window or curtains open. Having decided to make the best of it we were a bit put off by notices of "hands off anything in the cupboards" and that the mattress was due for resanitising in December. I couldn't help but look for bugs. It was also dusty and there was a nice little pile of sand left on the kitchen counter. All things considered I think they could do better because the position is perfect for a great holiday.

Thank you for your feedback.
You would have booked a 1 bedroom apartment and in this case we gave you a 2 bedroom apartment, but locked down the 2nd bedroom and 2nd bathroom which are located on the pool side of the apartment.
The main bedroom with ensuite is located on the bowls club side in all apartments in that block. If you were unhappy with the situation, we would have readily done all we could to remedy it, had we known.
I do not know the exact dates you stayed, but wonder if it was when the night road works were occurring here to complete the "streetscape" project by the Regional Council. I did have a sign on the office door apologising for any inconvenience and in fact moved one guest when they requested.
I am sorry, but I do not understand where you would have seen any signs saying "hands off anything in the cupboards" as the only sign is asking guests to remove rubbish on departure and put the dishes in the dishwasher.
There are a couple of "owner's cupboards" - one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen area - for owners personal belongings. They are locked, but there is no sign on them.
Yes, an annual mattress sanitisation program is undertaken (by all resorts) once a year.
If I had known your stay was not enjoyable, I would have done what I could to make it so.
Kind regards
Shirley

Stayed here for a conference recently for 4 nights. It's great in that shops, cafes are at ur doorstep. Yet the apartments are private with secure undercover parking. There's a pool that's heated but no gym. The apartment was clean, fully equipped kitchen, just bring your own milk, drinks etc. the only downside was a slightly off putting smell from the main bathroom, which I suspect has to do with the plumbing. Otherwise good value for money.

Sorry about the smell from the drain - the apartment must not have been used for a few days and would have just needed some hot water running for a few minutes to clear the drain.
There is a new gym opening up in Coolum this week - Jett's Gym. Should be a real boost for the area also.
Thanks for your review
