We needed somewhere affordable to stay near Whistler. This motel had very little information about it, but we gave it a go. It was surprisingly good considering the price in this area. We payed $10 more for a 'renovated' room and it was clean, good condition, huge comfortable new bed, everything new. It is outside Pemberton with little else around so not a good option if you can't drive. But it's only 20 or 30 minutes north of Whistler and pretty much the cheapest option we could find.
The most useful thing is that the kitchen unit was fully furnished like a proper kitchen, with tons of utensils and pans etc. and although you had to pay a little more if you used it, ($8?) it could mean a really really good option for people not able to afford Whistler prices. Definitely not for anyone wanting luxury but it's a warm room, kitchen, big bed and a big TV for people tired from all that snow.
Like other motels in BC, the walls are badly insulated so you have to pump the room full of heating, but it heats up quickly. The guy running the place was nice at first but got annoyed with us when we couldn't work how to lock the door. I can't vouch for what state the non-renovated rooms are in...

Room Tip: Renovated rooms!

We had made a reservation for this motel, after seeing their website, thinking to stay in the separate 'cabin'. Had already paid the proprietor before we looked at the cabin. It was dark, with bug traps, and with chairs upended on the kitchen table. Pretty basic. Plus the mosquitoes were horrendous, due to a wet spring. To the credit of the management, there was no argument about canceling our credit card transaction. We drove on down to Whistler and, with the help of the folks in the visitor center, found a condo unit, on a special, which was less money and much nicer. This might be a place that would work for fishermen or someone like that but it was not what we were seeking for our getaway.

Room Tip: I'd suggest that you look before you buy.... We only saw the cabin, so I can't evaluate the rooms.
