we had breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon snack and every single meal was delicious. the service is very attentive yet discrete, the location and tranquility of the bay is priceless. two nights a week the have an amazing bbq by the pool and if you are lucky enough you can have a fresh catch of the day under a full moon!

Unique setting in Soliman Bay. Beautiful outdoor seating, and quite comfortable. Food is delicious with a beautiful presentation. An eclectic blend of Latin American/Italian fare. Sahara Cafe is like an oasis in the desert. You will not be disappointed in this restaurant.

Amazing Italian / Mexican menu - one of the best places to eat in the area. The fish carpaccio is to die for. Fish is caught by the owner daily. Probably the best pasta in Mexico.

The Sahara Cafe is new to Soliman Bay, and we decided to try lunch. Our waiter was Edwardo, who was very attentive and personable, though it always surprises me how respectful people in Mexico are when my husband tells them he is a teacher (oh, maestro!) and not impressed with my being a school nurse. The prices are a bit high, but the outdoor seating enclosed with trees and screening on the beach makes up for it. I had fish taco, and my husband had chicken tacos, they were nice and the sauces were very good. Don Julio 'golden' margarita was yummy. They take cards, but take cash for the tip, if you add it in and put it on the card the waiter never gets it, which Tomas the owner (a friendly guy we met) should be ashamed of. I would recommend it for lunch.

We loved the fresh fish and lobster spaghetti at lunch and dinner. Breakfast croissants and fresh chaya juice were excellent.
