“Funny snorkeling in front and a cenote in the back”
Reviewed 27 January 2012

Right by the Casa Cenote sign there is a cenote in the back that is very cool. Not as many fish as good salt water spots but unique rock formations and fresh water fish. There are few spots to rest as the mangoves go to the edge so you might want a floatation device if you are not a great swimmer. You can rent stuff there. The cenote flows underground to out front in the ocean. Beach is rocky but it is very unique as the fresh water blows the smaller salt water fish around like there are in the wind. Angel fish blowing in the wind. Only place I have ever seen this type of thing. Like a comedy fish show under water.

“Cool Bay”
Reviewed 29 November 2011

Tankah is one of the quietist places I have ever been to in Mexico. Soft waves but rocky (Coral outcroppings) so most areas are not good for swimming.
