Beautiful house, well maintained, lots of space. The beds comfortable, sheets clean and changed daily. Bathrooms are clean and spacious ( ours had a bidet ). All have small balconies and screen doors. All rooms have AC units.
Only issue- Our bathroom window let in a sewage smell that was probably near the plumbing.
Beach was excellent, clean and the water clear by the house. Further along the beach, the beach was much rockier and with lots of coral. Snorkelling close to the beach possible and fish, and rays visible.
The pool was well maintained and the large table by the beach was great for large dinners with a great breeze.
Lots of snorkeling gear available as well as a couple of kayaks and paddle boards.
There is a great snorkeling spot where you can anchor the kayak to close to the reef where the water is about 12 feet deep.
The staff were excellent. Fernando and Iliana were hospitable and keep the place looking pristine. We had Chef Edwin and Armando cooking for us and every meal was excellent.....fresh, creative, tasty and he even made a killer margarita. If you can, request for Edwin, he will truly make your time there so much better.
Overall, Villa Soliman is a beautiful location, has excellent staff working there and is well maintained. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a beach vacation with a large group and a beach that is not busy.
This villa is absolutely spectacular! The location on Soliman Bay is beautiful and although it is about a 20 minute drive to Tulum, I enjoyed the beach here better than the beaches in Tulum! Being on the bay you can kayak, snorkel, and stand up paddle board (which the house is equipped with), whereas the hotels located in Tulum do not allow you to do such since they are directly on the Caribbean. I stayed here for my 30th birthday and there were 12 girls in the home- we all slept very comfortably with 2 to a room/bathroom. Each room has its own balcony with an ocean view. The pool on the main level is great and the plunge pool on the roof top is great to drink in! We had a chef for a day and I would highly recommend getting one for your entire stay! We honestly never even needed to leave the villa, except we wanted to explore Tulum so we left a few times. We would wake up every morning to freshly brewed coffee and a clean home- I dont know how they cleaned up after us because we were quite the messy group! This is the perfect villa- we partied yet felt so relaxed. We booked through Maya Luxe and I would 100% use them again- they are great in their customer service! I will be returning to this Villa as soon as possible!
I was a guest with the party renting this lovely villa and everyone agreed that nothing could be better. The location right on the beach in Soliman Bay was ideal and it was a close trip in to Tulum and my Spanish school (Meztli Spanish School which was also perfection). There are dining options near the villa so no need to rent a car. We enjoyed cooking in our kitchen on the days a chef wasn't arranged for us. The beach was just lovely and right off of our patio, we used the kayaks provided as well as the snorkel equipment. We also had a swimming pool and plenty of places to relax and to dine out of doors. We hope to rent again next year.
I must be honest - we had the best time of our life. We brought both our families to Tulum to this wonderful Villa, spent a week there and celebrated our wedding at the beach.
Prep work was very good as Massimiliano was extremely helpful and patient with us. Whatever he was saying was correct and right. Location, villa, beach & personnel is just amazing. Massimiliano mentioned beforehand that there was a new house built on the neighbour's property - proactively he gave us a discount. Very honest!
Staff was great and always helpful. Everything was permanently cleaned up. The cooks (Antonio, Victoria and team) did an amazing job.. not just in doing what they were supposed to do, but much much more than that :-)
We loved it - thanks to all!
The pictures are obviously beautiful - but they don't even begin to showcase the beauty that this house and bay have to offer! We had 13 people sleeping comfortably in this house - with the perfect amount of privacy due to the rooms being on separate floors. The views from the balconies were incredible, the kayaks and SUP were so fun to use, beds were comfortable, maids were friendly and helpful, and we hired Antonio for the week to cook for our large group! The chefs also exceeded our expectations and made INCREDIBLY delicious meals for us each day. It was my wedding week so it was very important to keep the family fed and happy in between festivities. The community is beautiful and gated, and has two restaurants within walking distance - Chamico's and the restaurant at Jashita. Definitely check them both out - very different vibes. Although you could easily never leave this Villa and you would have more than enough to keep you entertained! Can't wait to go back :)

Set within Tulum’s lush and most protected Soliman Bay, the light-filled Villa Soliman is within easy swimming distance of a pretty barrier reef of the property's private sandy beach. This is our second stay and this time our friends (a family of 4) joined us. The views are expansive from every rooms of the villa. The property is kept in immaculate condition with incredibly efficient and friendly staff onsite and the owner is warm & welcoming and responsive. It is everything we could have asked for and more in PARADISE. A definite find and now our place in Tulum.
I traveled to Tulum to stay at Villa Soliman with ten women on a ten year college reunion. The house and entire property is amazing. I can not say enough great things about the chef, Victoria. The cleaning staff and caretakers were delightful, and we were even treated to a Mariachi performance from one of them. ALL of Victoria's food was amazing and she was very accommodating of food allergies, etc. Antonio was very helpful in creating our menus and getting groceries and alcohol for us. The house is very nice, great wifi, snorkel gear, kayaks, etc. It is in a secluded cove, so just know it is not in the middle of Tulum where most of the hotels and restaurants are. We did have one issue with the hot water, which we notified the owner about on the first night. After two days of no hot water in some bathrooms, we continued to ask about the problem. The way the owner, Max, handled the issue was unacceptable. He showed up at the house and became very aggressive. He treated us as if we were stupid and didn't know how to turn the knob in the shower to get hot water. He told us just to share and use the other showers in the house. One bathroom had zero water pressure, which he acknowledged, but did nothing about. He was extremely helpful in advance of our arrival, but once we were there he acted as if we were a burden. We even allowed the house to be shown to potential buyers during our stay, but he was angry when we requested he help us fix the water issue. I would absolutely recommend the property, but maybe check the hot water upon arrival...
