We visited yesterday for Sunday lunch as a party of seven. One of our party has mobility issues. The staff could not have been more helpful.
The roasts were delicious and beautifully presented. Very generous portions. The service was very efficient and the staff were lovely.
We will be back!

Visited with friends. Great ambiance and service, with excellent food as good as you would get anywhere and at very reasonable cost. We'll definitely go back.

Listed in the Michelin guide this pub delivers some good food. Lovely starters where the soup was especially tasty. Mains were beautifully presented all well cooked, my mackerel was recommendable. Of the desserts the sticky toffee pudding was the best.
Prices are on high side but there there is a good value fixed price menu for less than £20 for three courses.
It was rather quiet on a Wednesday night, service was friendly and efficient.

We were trying the White Horse for the first time and were expecting normal pub food but little did we know that they had Raymond Blanc and Marcus Wareing in the kitchen (we can only suppose), as the food we received was absolutely outstanding and what we would have expected from a very expensive high end restaurant.

The beer was good too!

Absolutely fantastic! We went for Sunday lunch with the family and opted for the sharing platter. The sharing platter consisted of beef (rare or well done - you could choose), belly pork and roast chicken. All were cooked to a very high standard. We also had so many lovely veggies - roasties, heritage carrots, crispy kale, cauliflower cheese, red cabbage and loads of gravy. The service was also very attentive and friendly! Would go back in a heartbeat.
