Convenient, easy access, good service and excellent food and drinks. I have taken the grandchildren and their childminder brought a number of children one day. Always made very welcome.

I have been here on numerous occasions and am still amazed by how fabulous it is. The staff are so friendly, even when under pressure at very busy times, the food is truly delicious and the coffee the best for miles around. How lucky to live so near and be able to go frequently.

I've been to the Divine Cafe in it's current incarnation several times now, and some neighbours also go regularly. It is so good we reckon our location only 2.3 miles away actually adds value to our homes. The Divine is a family affair and serves the best quality light, healthy food; the fry ups are so beautful and excess fat and additive free that they probably count as health food. It's intimate and friendly and has the ambiance of a favourite local bistro, where patrons all chat comfortably together. I have it on good authority that the quiches are also as good as the omelettes, and the homemade cakes are out of this world: today's star offering was lemon and raspberry roulade. The loo (in the former car wash - the restaurant is the former shop of a petrol station in the 80s and 90s) is spacious and positively posh, with a slate floor and elegant toiletry accessories. A spectacular gem in a spectacular location.

Gosh where do I start. The food is always freshly cooked and if you feel particularly naughty then also have some cake.

The owner and staff always have a kind word and a bit of a joke, always remembering past comments we have made.

We like the breakfast but it is always hard to choose which one to have. Perhaps that is why I keep on going back.

Just go there, if the weather is kind then sit outside and admire the White Horse Monument, otherwise enjoy the bistro style seating inside, have a chat or read one of the magazines or papers supplied.

Always and pleasure to go - and yes it is my guilty pleasure.
