How to describe a wooden shack just off a busy road through Cherhill - well, wooden shack does it well so there we go. The Divine Cafe has had more lives than my neighbour's cat but hopefully this one is here to stay. This is not a fine dining restaurant but is a darned, decent fuel stop and more. Cakes, snacks, salads, eggs done in many ways - the menu choice is plentiful. Everything appears to be cooked or baked on the premises and is all the better for that. The food is good and fresh as a result, portions on the generous side of average and - despite other reviews - good value for money (head east to Marlborough if you need proof). An omelette and some scrambled eggs solicited satisfying nods of the head. The drinks menu is as generous as the food choice so this is probably a good spot for families. Some outdoor seating adds necessary space to a small interior but good service makes up for any discomfort. Lest we forget - this is cafe but a thoroughly good one at that.
