“a suprising gem for a light snack or more.”
Reviewed 8 January 2014

having plodded through the semi submerged Wargrave we finally decided to try this for a coffee and snack and we were delighted- this had been under previous management and then reopened late last year and am so glad we tried it. Lovely decor, comfy seats, a warm welcome and fantastic food.. cant say more. the sandwich was just lovely, fresh bread and fillings you design yourself - tasted great. Had lemon cake too and a large cappacino - all great. A warm welcome topped it off so will be back again for sure.

“Farewell Ye Olde Post Office”
Reviewed 30 May 2013

Having provided a much needed and appreciated café environment in Wargrave and starting up a supper club to rival many others it is no more and that is a shame.

Neighbours applied to the local council to have it closed down because somebody knocked on their front door and some little oink decided to pee on a lamp post and they have got their way so a café appreciated by the many is defeated by the few.

All the best to Tony for providing a service that has now been taken away.

“Ideal village life...”
Reviewed 14 May 2013

A lovely local cafe. The food is fantastic and there is quite a range of deli-style options with home-made quiches and salads on offer as well as the usual. The decor is really nice- very farrow&ball style of old vs. new. All great however it can get busy and very noisy as it attracts alot of familys.

“Excellent food, prices a little above local average”
Reviewed 8 February 2013

Visited on a quiet Friday lunchtime. Interior welcoming and elegant. Food excellent - poached eggs perfect and bread delicious, bacon sandwich also. Prices a little above what one would normally pay for a sandwich type meal but worth it for the quality. Recommend
