Had a girls trip down to Poole and had a wonderful day out cruising around the bays and enjoying the sun. We had a great skipper with good knowledge of the area and had champagne and nibbles whilst enjoying the seascape. We then went and had dinner on the Poole quay, being spoilt for choice we settled on a lovely Italian. Would highly recommend for a fun day/ evening out.

I stayed on the Blackfeather for a long weekend with a group of girlfriends. The boat was beautiful, everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had the most wonderful time and it was moored in the most beautiful part of England which gave us the opportunity to sail to the most beautiful parts of Poole and have long lovely lunches.

Thank you Blackfeather - you went above and beyond to ensure we had the most fabulous weekend on a beautiful boat.

We hired Blackfeather for a Stag trip to Cowes. What a fantastic idea (even if I am the best man) and day. I am fairly confident we drank everything on the boat bar the engine oil. Russ (skipper for the day) was great, the weather sunny and the sea calm. Couldn't have asked for
more. Russ even managed a fake breakdown of the boat as a wind up for one member
of the party who had an important train to catch on Saturday to get up to
Manchester for a Christening where he was a Godfather. He played the role
superbly for 5 mins as we bobbed about in the solent! Would recommend this to anyone for any day outing.

The Radio DJ on the way South to Poole asked if listeners were in May Bank Holiday Heaven or the other form of Bank Holiday. Once we arrived on Blackfeather, we knew we were clearly in Heaven.

Everything was so convenient. We were able to park very close to the boat and grab a fantastic cappucino right out in front before boarding (clearly, very important necessities). The boat is perfectly docked across from a cafe and Tesco and only a 5minute walk from Poole's high street making dinner decisions for a group so easy (if you decide to dine off the boat) and also a weekend away with only 5minutes to pack worry free.

The boat's layout is also great for groups. We found that we could all sit around together or find separate areas to chat around the boat. I especially loved lounging on the sunbeds on the bow and sitting in the eagle's nest which provided a great 360 view to watch all the excitement of the Harbour. It was really nice to see all the diversity of boats in the harbour and feel the fresh wind and sunshine.

The captain was great and really tailored the day to the group. We had never been to Poole before so he took us on a tour of the harbour, around Brownsea and out to Old Harry and then anchored for lunch. We never felt time pressure and were able to just go with the flow of what the group desired at any point. It was exactly what we needed.

Overall it was fantastic. The boat's condition is pristine. I had even forgotten that it's kept in salt water! I was really amazed by how well the woodwork has been kept. The BBQ was a nice added bonus and the boat also comes with an oven and gas stove--a hot cup of tea while out at sea? Yes please! The boat had everything to make you feel like you hadn't left the comforts of your own home but with the best view imaginable, and nothing beats being gently rocked to sleep while the sun warms your face.

We have decided to make this an annual tradition and look forward to our next trip! Thanks again Blackfeather!
