What a delightful stop. A lovely house with a great welcome. Just what you need after a long trip. Nearby restaurants (short drive) Lovely accommodation in nice countryside. This is a lovely place to stop and we would certainly like to visit again.

Rue Des Pins is beautiful rustic accommodation in a small village near Trebes, the Canal Du Midi and Carcassonne.

Nick is a wonderful and gracious host who helped us immensely with bike hire, restaurant suggestions and general conversation. ( and he makes a great breakfast )

If you like a rural setting in a restored 200 year old house, this is the place.

Extremely quiet and rustic setting in a charming little village but within easy distance of the sights. Close to Trebes for dinner and provisions. Recommend a car.
Perfect and welcoming host, providing lot of local knowledge and direction.
Large confortable room furnished in tasteful traditional French style. The house is peaceful, relaxing and interesting. Eddie the dog is very welcoming providing you are not cycling at the time!
Substanstial local breakfast, delicious fresh croissants and bread in a calm setting.
Would stay again if in the area.

We had booked a gite for a week but it was not available until the day after our flight so we booked a night at Domaine des Pins, the room was fantastic the hosts were great and made us feel at home, it is set in a stunning area with sunflower fields and vineyards surrounding it. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends without hesitation.

Our stay at this wonderful "cottage" was absolutely fantastic. The service was second to none and we were made to feel like we were part of the family. The service was great and the food wonderful. The location of Domaine des Pins is the best of both worlds with the country views and the convenience of being close to the large city of Carcassonne with its 12th Century castle to explore. Everything about Domaine des Pins just is the best. I would definitely recommend to my friends if they travel to France.

We had an absolutely lovely short break at Domaines des Pains, and would definitely return again. Our bedroom was beautifully furnished, as was our dining/living room, which we had for our personal use (there was also a lovely bathroom with a brilliant shower!) The detail and sense of style that has been invested in the rooms is really superb. There is a garden with an exterior kitchen as well, which was perfect for relaxing in the very lovely weather.

The couple running the place are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, as well as being truly kind and charming people. We had a fantastic tour of some of the local vineyards, which was a real highlight, as was seeing some of the gorgeous local countryside.

It's very close to the main city of Carcassonne and easy to get to by taxi/car, but as it is slightly outside in a small village, you also get a lovely sense of peace (which was perfect for us as we weren't looking for a city break).

We had a great breakfast on our last day as well, and there is a good choice of menus should you wish to order it instead of making/getting your own. The couple also work as caterers, so it was truly a 5* breakfast experience!

It's a genuinely lovely place for a stay, and incredible value for money. Could not recommend it highly enough.

We have visited many a B&B through time and they were all good but not many are quite as good as Domaine de Pins. The owners are great hosts; kind, helpful and they offer great service. The room was also one of the most beautiful and luxurious rooms we have ever had at a B&B. The place was quite, clean, beautifully decorated and the bed was seriously more comfortable then we have at home.

We also spend many hours in the garden from which we had a most wonderful view of the surroundings, including the Cite of Carcassone.
Because of the weather we spend most of the time outside but if you wish you can relax downstairs in a sitting/dining room, which is just as gorgeous as the rest of the house.

Besides this they offer several sorts of breakfasts, so you can actually choose what you would like to have for breakfast. As most of you know who visit B&B regularly this is often not the case and you'll be eating the same meal every morning. Though we often went out early we also had breakfast at their place once and they sure know how to make scrambled egg!

Another positive thing about it's location is that it is close to many interesting sights, the Cathar castles, Carcassonne, vineyards and many other touristic and less touristic places but the B&B itself lies in a small, beautiful and quite village up the hill. So you actually get the best of both worlds.

I know I must sound overly optimistic but we simply had a great time at this place and I couldn't mention a thing which I considered as disappointing. For a stay as luxurious as this you will pay twice or three times as much in a hotel.
