We stayed for only one night in a group of 16. The permanent tented accommodation was a little tired on the outside, needing a few extra clips to secure the flap on the door but all credit to the cleaning staff. Although the inside of the tents were showing signs of age, everything was lovely and clean. To wake up in the morning to the sound of the birds singing and sit on your deck overlooking the range - just breathtaking. We had a buffet dinner and it was superb. Huge choice of meats, vegetables, desserts - really wonderful, especially considering we were in the outback. Some of our group were disturbed by the restaurant manager's instructions on how the buffet should be approached but it was soon evident many didn't listen and it did not flow well because they didn't listen. I also think the restaurant manager needs to lighten up a bit but I was not insulted at all. Breakfast buffet was great too. Emma Gorge worth the walk but the resort has a pool if you want to lay back and relax. Laundry facilities available too.
