The chef at this restaurant needs to give up his day job as a physics teacher and come to Melbourne where he would make millions as the food at almond beach is the best ever! My partner and I are very picky with our food (food snobs) and we walked away totally gobsmacked at how beautiful the food is. We started with the soft shell crab and the prawn and crab spring rolls. Yum!! For main we had the lobster and the butter prawns. Both mains simply 10/10. For dessert we had the lime Creme brûlée and the chocolate/coffee tart. Perfect way to finish off the meal. The service was great too, not in your face but attentive. The waiter had an excellent knowledge of the food and wine. This restaurant is to die for. We will be back.....maybe even tomorrow night!
