“Best Brunch we've had anywhere in the world! - highly recommend it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 January 2012

My husband and I are big brunch fans. We eat out every weekend and all the time when on vacation around the world. We can safely say that Nunu in Palm Cove served us the very best breakfast we have ever eaten.
Not only is the setting, atmosphere and service great, the food is superlative.
Amazing presentation, full of flavours - both strong and subtle.
We had the blue swimmer crab omelette served in a broth - it was so delicate and full of flavour. Whilst the broth seemed strange for breakfast, it complemented the omelette's crab flavours.
We also had the coconut hot cakes. These were so light and fluffy, they just melted in your mouth.
If only we lived closer to Palm Cove we would visit there every weekend. Alas we must wait for our next holiday visit to Far North Queensland.
I would highly, highly recommend it. It is not cheap but it is outstanding.

“Class by the sea”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 December 2011

This is a very high class of restaurant with a standard of food that sets the bar for Palm Cove.
Service is first quality and most knowledgeable without being intrusive.
The food is exquisite, from the lemon bread loaf that arrives unordered to the coffee.
The wine list is impressive.
The restaurant is one of a group opposite Palm Cove Beach, and sits amongst ancient paper bark trees

“Typical Palm Cove Experience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 December 2011

I cant really say anything terribly bad or good about this place. The food is ok, the decor nothing very special and the prices a little too expensive. The service can vary from slack to just above average. I am sorry I cant get really emotional about this place but it just seems like the same thing I have seen and had over and over again.

“nice but a dissapointment”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 December 2011

Went to this lovely restaurant in an idyllic setting. The greeting was nice and we were seated promptly. The food was well presented a small portion on very large plates. I know its supposed to be fashionable to go away hungry. It was very tasty although the menu is very restrictive and very expensive. Drinks are over priced but I suppose that's what happens when locals venture into tourist territory. The wait staff were a bit pretentious and I am sure they felt belittled by having to serve us.
