“Nu Nu might have moved but service and food is till top notch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2014

Was worried with the move the food or the staff might have been played with, but no as always NU Nu did not disappoint, consistently great. New location was fantastic, directly on the beach. Had a great "Sunday lunch and session".

“So disappointed...”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2014

We left hungry. Variable quality. Dishes were try-hard - dishes barely matched menu description, and lacked in substance. Push pouring of wine. Such a contrast to other Palm Cove restaurants. :(

“Tranquility”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

The best location in Palm Cove and best coffee. Staff were only too happy to let us have front row seats overlooking the beach and simply order 2 coffees every morning.

Thank you for your feedback.

We use a local coffee roaster, Four Mile Roasters, and I really love the coffee too!

“Best thing is the location”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014 via mobile

Like other reviewers we were really looking forward to eating here. Breakfast came recommended. Coffee took 20 minutes and they weren't even busy. Had toast and jam which was the best thing ordered. Scrambled eggs were over salted and pre peppered which is a problem if you don't like either! A dessert inspired coconut sorbet covering banana hot cakes - yep as odd as it sounds. Won't be back. And the coffee wasn't worth waiting for either!

Thank you for your feedback regarding your Nu Nu experience.

Certainly 20 minutes for a coffee is too long - well outside the goals we strive for. In terms of the seasoning of our eggs this is a conscious choice for us so perhaps it is best to ask without seasoning if that is the way you prefer them. Our coconut hotcakes are a signature dish that our regular customers and part time visitors from afar insist we return to the menu - so I believe that that may be a personal taste issue.

Thanks once again we value all feedback and use it to keep striving forward and improving our brand.

“Ordinary dining experience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 June 2014

We were so looking forward to eating at Nu Nu....it had been recommended to us by friends.
We were so disappointed ! On arrival you walk into a barn like empty space totally devoid of any warmth or character. When shown to our table which was in a fairly ordinary location, we requested an alternative, one and were told that it was not available...it remainder empty all evening.
The food was disappointing and the service arrogant....we would not return.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your Nu Nu experience.

We have many changes in the pipeline in terms of the space and are looking very much forward to the arrival of our new furniture to warm the space.

Managing table requests is certainly something we a challenged with on a daily basis with our venue being on the absolute beachfront - whilst we try to accommodate all requests, we also reserve the right to manage our venue how we see fit - without knowing specific details it is difficult to comment on your table allocation issue.

Glad to see that you enjoyed The Rising Sun owned and operated by the same team.

We value all feedback and use it to strive forward and improve our product.
