We had a great day at Hartley's. It's good value for a family, lots of things to see and the people who run it are friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit.

“Great Family Fun”
Reviewed 18 July 2014

Our family had a real blast at this large croc park.
It was a fun, entertaining and highly educational experience.
We all learned a great deal about these incredible and amazing large reptiles.
The croc and snake show handlers were very good and funny. Our 2 boys enjoyed the shows so much that they asked us to bring them back again the next day.
Unfortunately, we had to catch a plane the next day but we'll certainly come back to this park next time we're in Cairns.

“Definitely worth visiting”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

Our family (ages ranging from 16 years to 73 years) had a great day here, we all thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the snake show. The man doing the snake show was worth visiting for alone, he made it so interesting and also had hilarious anecdotes that I have been busy repeating to everyone over the last week! Restaurant is very good and not expensive. Would definitely recommend Hartley's for anyone visiting the Cairns area.

“Interesting and entertaining”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

We got there just after lunch and spent the whole afternoon watching the shows, walking around looking at exhibits and on the boat trip. The guide doing the snake show was a fabulous speaker. Very informative and funny. He spoke in a friendly manner as if he was just having a conversation with you but really there were about 200 people hanging onto his every word for the 30 mins or so. The guide that presented the show for the crocodiles was also very entertaining and made some of the audience a bit fearful when he stood in the water, with the very big croc and could not tell where it was in the very murky water. The entertaining showmanship continued onto the boat tour where the driver would also feed chicken to the crocodiles that we passed and made funny jokes. Everyone is an entertainer at this place. You will need a car to get here or you could get a bus transfer. Ideally 4 hours or more would be good to spend at this place. We spent about 3 & were a bit rushed. My kids loved it! I am not a huge reptile lover but I loved this place and found it to be far better than most of the wildlife parks we have been to. Highly recommend!
