“Best place we have ever stayed.”
Reviewed 2 January 2013 via mobile

My husband and i returned today from Peppers Palm Cove and are so happy we chose to stay there over the New Years break. Everything about the place was fantastic. We had a spa room which was so clean and tidy. We stayed for 4 nights which was fine for one of the smaller rooms but any longer and you would probably need to stay in a 1 Bedroom apartment. All the staff were more than helpful and Drew in the pool bar was unbelievable how he kept up with the customers on New Years Eve afternoon when it was so busy. He made everyone feel so welcome and even brought a smile to so many kids faces with his amazing milkshakes and of course the adults with his delightful cocktails. Thanks so much Drew.
We have stayed at many 5 star resorts around the world and would highly recommend Peppers Palm Cove as its well suited to both Honeymooners, Couples and Families. Most people that write a good review always have atleast 1 negative thing to write but i cant thnk of any it was that good. We went to Hayman Island for our honeymoon which was great but in terms of location and things to do i would certainly recommend Peppers Palm Cove instead.

Thanks again to all the staff at Peppers for making our 2nd honeymoon so enjoyable. Hope to see you again in 2013.

Regards Kerrie & Mido

This resort is fabulous, it exceeded our expectations in all areas. Firstly the resort itself is magic and would suit all types of holiday makers, ours was a family holiday for Xmas but we saw couples old and young, families with babies and toddlers and like us with teenagers and a grandparent! All ages are catered for, the pools are sensational (3)' tennis court is great (we alternated between playing tennis and swimming everyday). The apartment was perfect for us too, we had the two bedroom option with another sofa bed in the adjoining room to the master, plenty of room for everyone including 80 year old grandma (she had a ball too). Breakfast in lime & pepper restaurant each morning was a real treat aswell as in the evening for a cocktail, and don't forget the swim up pool bar, what a luxury to have drinks and food so close by whilst relaxing in the sun lounges. We can't wait to go back, could not fault it.

Room Tip: Our apartment overlooked the first pool and had a wonderful view over that and the lagoon pool. If...

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for four nights from 29 December 2012 and were booked into an ocean view spa room on the first floor.
In our view the room was very average with the timber furniture in the room and balcony chipping. Generally the room looked a little tired and could have done with being refurbished.
On two occassions our room was not made up until after 4.30pm.
On the plus side, the location of the hotel was good, the staff were friendly and the pool area was well laid out.
We would only return to this hotel if the rooms were refurbished.

Room Tip: Rooms with an ocean view are much quieter as they are away from the pool area.

We stayed at peppers palm cove over the Christmas break. Overall it was a bit disappointing for the price we paid $2800 for four nights.you would expect something special for that .we found the staff to be rude and un friendly most of the time. our room was very tired looking and un clean for a penthouse they could do with an upgrade more like 4 star acc not 5 star the pool bar was great very hard to get a drink with only 1 guy serving 20 people very expensive for drinks it was unclean and lots of empty glass lying around the pool for the most of the day even the next morning there was still empty glass everywhere they need more staff around the pool area. Breakfast was ok nothing to rave about overall palm cove is a great spot for a break but peppers need to pick up their game in some areas if they want to be a 5 star resort

The room we had was the second expensive one with a spa but when we arrived that was dirty.
The staff were incredibly unfriendly in many situations and the pool area was always packed and untidy.
The bar in the pool was great to have only annoying that there was only one person servicing it so we had to wait ages to get a drink. The breakfast buffet was joke. Never experienced a 5 star resort where you have to pay extra for your latte. Rude! The juices were all from bottles from the supermarket, the poached were not only lying in the Bain Marie ready to go for hours but were due to that cooked through and greenish. Nothing cooked fresh. Again service at breakfast was rude. We would never consider coming here again.

We stayed here at the end of Sept 2012 and the weather was fantastic! Having stayed at various Peppers resorts I had certain expectations. The location was magnificent located on the Esplanade opposite the main beach. The dining area was very relaxing and had beautiful views of the ocean along with a cool breeze filtering through from the beach. The main pool area was very crowded and the reserving of seats (even though discouraged by management) was terrible as people would leave a towel on a seat and walk away for extended periods. The pool bar looked nice but due to supply & demand there were only a limited number of seats compared to the number of patrons wanting to be there.
We found the Serenity pool area less crowded and hidden from the noise coming from the main pool.

Our room had several issues of which we wrote down for management that included broken items and missing room amenities. Reception mentioned that several resort rooms are due for renovation in the next 12 months so I will be paying close attention to when this has taken place. Housekeeping also failed to set up the room with basic items such as shampoo, pen & paper but that was soon resolved with a phone call.
The room has no curtains! Shutters are used to block the sun and sadly it failed to do this in the early morning.
The outdoor spa was a comfortable size and the little balcony with seats had nice views overlooking the main pool. Sadly the outdoor shutters had snapped-off levers so we couldn't open them to enjoy the entire view whilst sitting in the spa.
We would have rated this place a 4 but based on value for money and the condition of our particular room we felt that management need to address issues.

Room Tip: Travelling as a couple and looking for somewhere tranquil - ask for a Serenity pool room that is awa...

We went to Palm Cove for my 50th. My Partner booked the three night holiday full of surprises.
We stayed at Pepper Beach Club and WOW.
From the moment we arrived we were treated like VIP's. The reception staff, The concerierge, The waiting staff were the best We have ever experienced.
The resort was in a perfect location and had a number oif very nice facilities.
The three pools, the swim up bar, was excellent.
We ate in the Resteraunt for breakfast each day and the food was of a very high standard.
We had a spa and massage at the day spa and was exceptionally relaxing (thanks Harmony)
On the second night we had a romatic dinner for two on the terrace - this is a must do, it is so wonderrful, private and the jacuzzi was delightful and the food was oustanding
I would recomend anyone who wants a weekend of more away to take the time and spend it Peppers Beach Club and Spa.
A special thank you to Jill at reception for going beyond to make our stay special.

Room Tip: Rooms over the Serentiy pool are the best, take the Penthouse suite if you can but be aware no lifts...
