“Very Happy”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

I really enjoyed my stay here, we stayed in a 3 bedroom penhouse with roof top pool and BBQ. The rooms were very clean and comfy, the roof pool was amazing and well worth paying for as was the BBQ we loved relaxing on an evening having a BBQ and a chill the pool. The main pool area was great with a very nice pool bar. The staff were very friendley and helpful they really did make our stay even better. The location was also fantastic with the beach right opposite the hotel.

I would definitely stay again. Loved my stay here.

As this was our Honeymoon which we noted on our booking we were a little disappointed when asking if we could be upgraded that it would come at a cost, especially after reading other reviews claiming they received 2 b/room suites at the same price as our shoe box.

On entering the room we notice a stream of ants running up the wall near our kitchenette (more like shelf) the grounds people were quick to take care of this but I'm glad they left the insect spray as the ants continued to return for the next couple of days.

Having said all that the staff were very friendly, the pools and tennis courts were fantastic, the swim up bar is very cool but the drink prices are very expensive.

Compared to Port Dougas the extra hour travel is justified. The staff is impersonal and service inadequate. In PD they remember you by name, have an 11 am check out and the concierge is quick to grab your bags. This is not the case at PC which was noisy, could find no movie channels and the food selection was limited.

Room Tip: Avoid the pool are Easter time unless you have kids

Wonderful location. Professional staff. Amenities and rooms were great. Pool and bar were great. The only issue that needs work is buffet breakfast... For a peppers location this brekky isn't up to scratch compared to other locations I have visited. Would definitely stay again.

We got our rooms half price which was a bargain. For $300 a night it was well worth it. We had a two bedroom suite which was lovely and roomy and very clean. We overlooked the main pool, a nice view. The buffet breaky was lovely every morning. All staff were attentive and friendly. the pool bar was only opened the once as our weather was a bit dubious. i would like to mention a lovely lady named Emmy. She was very friendly, and made the atmosphere at the pool bar a fun one. I am glad we stayed here, our 8 year old loved it. Came home feeling very relaxed.

Great facilities at this resort - beautiful grounds and pools although main pool was noisy - only a few families around but the noise echoes around the resort - nobody seemed to consider the other guests with screaming kids & pool gates slamming. I don't think I would want to be here at peak if a relaxing peaceful holiday is wanted! Apartment was comfortable with basic kitchen facilities. We got good rates by booking thru private rental - don't think it is worth the rate through peppers.

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the serenity pool are probably the quietest!

Lovely resort, right opposite safe swimming beach. Beach was closed and very windy when we were there, but the resorts 3 pools were a welcome retreat and you wouldn't know the weather was so rough outside. Stayed in a penthouse suite (3134) which had an excellent balcony with comfy couch and table and chairs. King size bed was firm and very comfy, flat screen TV in bedroom & lounge, ensuite bathroom clean and a good size. Lounge and fully equipped kitchen and laundry with washer and dryer, great layout and spacious unit. Staff were very friendly, check in and checkout was excellent. We had breakfast included which wasn't one of the best buffet breakfasts I have had, but they had an expresso machine where you could make your own lattes, etc, which was a nice touch. Usual stuff of bacon, eggs, sausage, mushrooms which were delicious, tomatoes, beans, hash, pancake, fresh fruits, continental stuffs.
Free car parking underneath, unfortunately didn't get to try the spa-next time!
Walking distance to everything, would highly recommend! look forward to returning another time!

Room Tip: Higher rooms offer great views over pool areas, but no lifts, so you have to walk, which can be a dr...
