Great resort. Stayed for 8 days for a relaxing break. Got just that, rooms were spacious and clean and serviced everyday.( could do with an update though) Lovely view over lagoon. Fully appointed kitchen, room to eat and sit to watch TV. Laundry. We had breakfast included and that was excellent.
Three glorious pools. Basically an adult pool a lagoon for families and a serenity pool for quiet times.Staff were helpful and very pleasant. TV played up but staff were quick to rectify.
Close to beach and strip of cafes etc
Will definitely return.

Rooms are pretty dated. We had a renovated room but it was nothing flash. More like holiday flats than a 5 star hotel. Bathroom was tiny.
Staff were excellent. Pool was absolutely beautiful.
Weird mix of people staying there, some people expecting and paying for the 5 star experience mixed with people that had obviously got some cheap deal on group buying sites. We felt a little ripped off.

We recently had a 4 day internal business meeting at Peppers -

I cannot articulate how good this venue is - big enough that we were not on top of each other, though small enough that it was still intimate.

For the event coordinators reading this... Lizzie and Jill made my life so easy - they spoon feed me, their attention to detail was superb - they gave me the confidence that I could leave it to them and know the result would be perfect. This meant I could concentrate on other business matters...

Lizzie helped me put together the weeks program ensuring we had a good mix of business and pleasure. Ensuring that we saw different parts of the local area and that it was suitable for our wide demographics of attendees.

If you have a tight budget and need 'bang for your buck' their day delegate packages are 1/2 the price of Sydney and Melbourne. AV is included in their packages! Accommodation is also VERY reasonable.

This is the first meeting that I had all of our people all raving about the week -

When you use a 5 star venue it is the little things that differentiate the hotels, I can assure you that Peppers Palm Cove is at the top of my list.

Room Tip: I had a spa room over looking the pool - it was beautiful! Others had rooms overlooking the serenity pool which they raved about.

Have visited Peppers Beach Club before and love the location and staff. Rooms are decent size and our spa room had plenty of hanging space for clothes.

Suggested improvements:

1. Carpark entry - please illuminate that carpark sign before you enter - very difficult to see at night in the dark and challenging for those who have never been to the resort with a car. A sign on the Gym building directing guests to the carpark would also help if you're coming from the main highway. Front desk staff should also advise where to park the car once inside the carpark.

2. Rooms were starting to look worn out with scratched furniture and stained bed heads etc...Perhaps a repaint and reupholstering is required to bring it back up to full 5 * standards.

3. Expresso coffee was below standard relative to the other places in Palm Cove e.g. Vivo, Rising Sun. Breakfast was average for 5 star rated place. Dining area was great with nice breezes but let down by average food range and quality. Was not offered eggs/pancakes to order.

4. Lack of porter service to help you with your bags. Not offered upon checkin or checkout. Quite challenging when you are on the top floor and have 3 flights of stairs to walk up and down in this complex with no lifts.

5. A wedding party was being held on Sunday evening from around 5-6pm of our stay. Like any wedding it was celebratory and loud (rightly so -very happy for the family and friends) -though would have been nice to have been informed there would be a party on Sunday evening so we could plan time away from the resort for dinner as it got quite loud. Party migrated to an indoor location from around 10pm which was most appreciated.

Other than that, had a great time. Thank you.

Room Tip: Avoid room near the lagoon pool if you're after peace and quiet as it gets noisy with kids during the day and possible night parities which occur in the conference room area.

Dear RV_Traveller28,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay and for providing valuable feedback.
I am happy to state that new signage at our car park entrances is imminent, the restaurant is currently closed and we are undertaking a full refurbishment of the kitchen and bar area, rooms are also mid way though a comprehensive soft refurbishment with new lounges replacing old rattan ware.

We look forward to you return!

Best,

Chris & team

Just got home from a 3 day stay here after attending a family wedding in Pt Douglas. 5 adults shared a spa suite overlooking the lagoon pool. We all loved the pool and enjoyed the swim up bar. The rooms were lovely and the spa and showers amazing. All of the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic service and a beautiful place. We all wished we could stay longer and will definitely be back. It could only have been better if the serenity pool was warmer making it more relaxing.
