Over four meals here we received very variable experiences. The best was a lunch ciabatta with prawns and that was very tasty. Dinner, however, on two occasions was really odd. It seems as though our food was cooked and ready and waiting for us, leaving it lukewarm and tired. On the second occasion, the meals arrived at the table before my partner returned from ordering drinks at the bar, immediately after ordering the meals. The battered barramundi could not have been cooked to order and both it and the accompanying fries, were very greasy with decidedly more batter than barra. We decided there was much better value to be had in Palm Cove.
