“Lovely little family run place”
Reviewed 8 November 2013 via mobile

This tiny little place packs a punch with perfectly cooked seafood and crunchy, light salads. Large mains. Outside dining is nice. The staff were friendly and thoughtful. No liquor license yet but corkage is free. With the two course deal, this meant we paid $62 all up for a couple. Hard to beat this value in Palm Cove.

“Great food, great service great value”
Reviewed 24 October 2013

Just returned from a week in Palm Cove. We always eat out when we are on holiday and this was probably our best dining experience during the whole week.It wasn't the plush surroundings or the fine dining. This is a little "café/restaurant" with about a dozen outside tables. They serve pasta, seafood, ribs and steaks-in many varieties. Their prices are reasonable but their "special deal" - two courses for $31 is great value. The choices are limited but we ordered 2 entrees - warm basil pesto chicken dish and spring rolls with tasty sauce. Both yummy and fresh. We ordered tempura barramundi with salad and chips. The fish was deliciously cooked with very light batter and the portions were very generous. We ordered coffees and shared a crème brulee (additional)
We had noticed they were full when we ate at the Greek restaurant next door (see separate review El Greko, which was very disappointing and twice as expensive)
The two waitresses were very friendly and helpful with menu questions and the owner who was a chef for quite a few years bought this place during the past 6 months or so. He mingled around the tables asking if people enjoyed their meal and made "small talk" He was very personable.
They are one of the only BYO restaurants in Palm Cove, which makes it cheaper - also NO CORKAGE.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant to those wanting good food at a reasonable price with good service. We came back the next night to eat but they were closed (Sunday).

“Simple, well executed food with great service”
Reviewed 21 September 2013 via mobile

A nice small restaurant that has a real family run feel. Great service and a simple menu of Italian favourites, but well executed. Relaxed location and not as busy as the others in the area.... A bit of a well kept secret. Nice, relaxed meal with the family, and definitely a place we will go to again.

“Great food and superb service”
Reviewed 19 September 2013

Its nice to go for a meal without being ripped off -- the food here is great and the meals are generous , would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting or the locals who just want a good night out .The Owners Steve And Lisa work hard to please all dinners .its a BYO but its worth it as the wines and beers and food . at Apres Beach Bar, which is next door are way too expensive for a family outing

“Relaxing atmosphere, tasty food”
Reviewed 18 September 2013

A showery night but we were still able to dine outdoors at Rosser's because of the massive umbrellas covering the tables and chairs. Extremely friendly wait staff and chef. During the evening the chef came to our table and asked if everything was ok and it was!
The service was efficient and the food was tasty, particularly the barramundi and interesting desserts to die for.
Good value for our money and overall a very enjoyable evening.
