I would've liked to have loved Sarayi, but I don't.
Indication to the hotel parking is not clearly marked. It cannot be accessed from the front of the hotel and there are no signs that I saw that showed where to park (behind).
The reception is not manned beyond a certain hour and so you have to enter some password to access your key.
As we stayed in the garden rooms, at the back of the main building. The main building is locked up at certain hours. This is fine except there is one key provided only. This makes it hard to go in and out through the front when you have three people sharing a room. The laundry room is locked up at certain hours at all and no way to access it with any key.
So the third bed is more like a cot, low to the ground with little support. Pillows are thin and not comfortable. Main bed mattress is okay, but the mattress on the extra cot is soft and not supportive.
The room is extra large for two, generous for three. No space issues.
There is a dining table with two chairs (not three, even though triple share). The kitchenette area has nothing except fridge and kettle. Tea/coffee is provided. Cups and glasses provided, but only for two. There is more than sufficient space for another sink and a microwave, but these are not provided for. Instead, an oversized TV is placed there.
The two largest windows face the common path where everyone can see you, so it's left mainly closed. There is another window and door that faces/leads to a backyard of sorts with chairs where you can relax. It's not very pretty, but it makes more sense to have windows that open up in this direction. But these windows do not open.
The bathroom is tiny in comparison to the room. It is poorly designed without any space around the sink for personal toiletries. The shower stall is also poorly designed, such that if the shower head is not pointing at an acute angle to the wall, water runs down and out of the shower stall into the rest of the bathroom. Nary a hook, available for clothes etc.
So while the room is clean and large, the thinking through for a functional room and how it is used by guests is lacking.
