Stayed 3 nights in room 46a which is an upstairs one bedroom apartment with kitchen. We bought a voucher on eBay and paid just over $80 per night which is fantastic value for money. The apartment is very spacious and well set up.king bed very comfy, full lounge suite, full sized dining suite and big bathroom with full laundry faculties. Shame there is no balcony but the louvred windows concertina open so you can bring the outdoors in. We overlooked the huge lap pool which was very nice. Shower was not fantastic more like a hose squinting at you. Water goes every where as there is no screen or curtain.very pleasant stroll through back gate to beach and shops,4 pools all very nice. Was very quiet for our stay so we had the back pool to ourselves. Looking at other reviews I would agree that it's not a Wellness Spa. They should rename it Mango Lagoon holiday Apartments as there really are no services provided apart from part time reception and a package breakfast. For the price we paid we felt that this place was fantastic.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom self-catering apartment. It was clean and well-equipped, although it could do with some general maintenance e.g. the shutters on the window were broken and difficult to open and close, and neither the wall clock nor the clock radio worked. The air conditioning can only be turned on or off, with no other control available. There are a variety of pools with lounge chairs for swimming and relaxing down the middle of the property. The beach front and shopping is a 10 minute walk away. We organised a local service to deliver groceries into the apartment before we arrived, so it was nice to arrive to a fully stocked fridge. The bed was OK, though a bit on the hard side.

Upon arrival there was no one at reception - it was totally unattended and there was a phone to call someone if we needed to check in. Surprisingly the reception was unattended during our entire stay which is just crazy as guests surely like to be at least welcomed. The caretaker came and opened a safe and gave us the key to the room and apparently we were lucky to have caught him as it was his day off. Then the room - what a miniature little room and a complete rip off for what it was. During our stay they were advertising the same room for 30 percent less and when we enquired at checkout (there happened to be someone at the desk) she just shrugged and said there were rooms even cheaper than that. This made us feel completely ripped off. The massage areas have great potential but they are a bit neglected and the $8 breakfast is an absolute joke for a "health" resort. Little tubs of yoghurt in a fridge, cocopops and other cereals in those little kids size packets, no fruit, instant coffee - bizarre. This was terrible value and we won't stay here again.

We spent a couple of nights at the resort. The room was $120 per night.
The resort in itself is beautiful and conveniently located however the room was very small, the air con remote was missing and the small fridge was so loud we had to unplug it at night. The bathroom was so dark including when the lights were on that we had to leave the shower curtain open to see anything.
Reception was closed when we checked in as it was a public holiday (which seemed odd) and no room service was provided.
The $9 continental breakfast consisted of cereals and instant coffee.

We checked online and noticed that the same room was available on the same night for $80 ($40 cheaper). I asked the receptionist for an explanation upon checking out and was told they have specials on all the time. Considering the resort was very quiet as we checked in on a public holiday monday, we expected some sort of promotion.
Although the resort is lovely we were both rather disappointed with the service and the room. We expected a lot more from a wellness centre.

stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment is actually 1 bedroom with huge lounge/dining and a great size bathroom with laundry facilities. The second bedroom is actually separate with it's own ensuite, this room is accessed by a shared foyer. We found this to be very handy as we were 2 families travelling seperately, my freind and I with a 1 child each. For our purposes this was perfect. I found this resort to be very good value for money. It is a shame that there is not a restaraunt or cafe on the premises but this was not a big issue for us. The spa service was quite nice but i wouldn't call this a "wellness" spa as advertised, there was some confusion regarding it's operating hours which on the leaflet stated open up to 12am! so when i tried to book a 8pm massage (kids in bed by then) i was dissapointed to hear from the therapist that the leaflet was out of date and the latest booking i could get was 6pm. still not a huge complaint but i would think that updating leaflets would be a simple thing to rectify. Overall the rooms really are good value for money. I can imagine there is not quite the appeal if you are in a upstairs room as there are no balcony's. I would stay again but would be requesting a room onto the kids pool since we made our booking including 2 kids it would've made more sense allocating a room onto the kids pool rather than the more grown up lap pool. Palm cove is awesome, beautiful esplanade with shops and great restaraunts.

Room Tip: shaded room with direct pool access

What a lovely quite place, my only problem with it was that its advertised as a "wellness spa" but there was A: No spa's and B: I could not book a massage at all which disappointed me greatly.
The pools and rooms were awesome but the front counter man wasn't very friendly.
I think I might go back there but I think they should change there advertising to resort not wellness spa.

Room Tip: Go the 2 room apartments they are just lovely and also try for a ground floor apartment it's muc...

Bought a certificate on Ebay for five nights at the Mango Lagoon in Palm Cove. The 'resort' is convienently located right off the highway and in a residential area, easy to walk to town. The pools are nice - we did not partake in the restaurant. The room we were assigned was facing a exterior fence overlooking lower end homes and their back yards. It was ~10' x 10' with one window, a bed and an attached shower/bathroom. The shower leaked water into the bedroom whenever used, there was so little light in the room we had to request a lamp, there was no maid service, there was no toiletries for six days, the air conditioning was permanently set (non-adjustable) to ~75 degrees (hot, when you're from Colorado!) and, of course, wi-fi was an additional charge. Kind of like a stay at the local correctional institution.
