We stayed at Alassio Palm Cove during February. The overall experience was just great the accommodation fitted the bill to a tee, every thing you would need is there just sit back and enjoy the whole experience. Many thanks to the management for supporting us with booking our trips and marking our stay a great experience. I would recommend Alassio to anybody.

Room Tip: We had a room on the second level over the pool. However there was never any noise anyway.

We stayed for 5 nights for a quick get away. Because its the low season we basically had the place to ourselves. Palm Cove is a much nicer place to stay than Cairns city, Clifton Beach or Trinity Beach, which we also looked at. The apartment was large, very comfortable and clean, the pool was very clear and warm, and we really enjoyed the balcony spa. The owners were very helpful in helping us to plan our day trips and obviously have a lot of local knowledge. The Alassio is very well located right next to the beach swimming nets.

We stayed at Alassio's over Melbourne Cup holiday 3-7 November 2012. The place is just great for families with kids (our daughter is 20 months), very safe swimming pool (if you are a serious swimmer, you may find it a bit too shallow, but we love it with our daughter!!!), spacious apartments (we got a two bedroom apartment, but even 1 would be fine), spa in ours, quiet inside due to very good window seals (THIS is very important to us!). Beds are comfortable, and kitchen has all the necessary to cook in. There is a BBQ area outside with tables, so you can have people over and cook some fish. Nice take-away restaurants close by, like the Thai one is to die for.

Pity the first night we arrived, the surf club was giving a party, and there was NO sleeping at all! However, NO Alassio's fault, and it was just one night. The owners were very nice, the place is VERY clean, and you can see them looking after all the areas, inclusive of the BBQ area all the times. It is a nice feeling.

We could park the car in the garage, but if it is too busy, it is a first-come-first-served basis, so just a word of warning.

The place is worth the money and, again, if you have a young family - the place to be.

Room Tip: Apartments with the SPA in the balcony are the way to go.

My wife and I stayed at Alassio Hotel Palm Cove for ten days the location was great just a walk across the road and you are on the beach. There are nice restaurants right outside the hotel. We stayed in a studio apartment on the ground floor, with the swimming pool right outside our room. Some people may find the studio apartment a little small, we were offered a larger apartment for an extra cost but decided the studio was fine.It was nice and quiet at night and we got a good nights sleep, the birds did not bother us a bit it was nice to wake up with the birds.Overall we had a nice time the managers were friendly and helpful we would stay here again and would recommend to other people.

We have just spent a week staying at Alassio Palm Cove. The location is at the top end of the main street. A stroll across the road and down to the right along the beach brings you to the patrolled life guard area. Great if you have small children. We stayed on the 3 rd and top floor in a 2 bedroom apartment. Balconey with a view of the pool and pier. The beds are terrific, grounds well maintained and the staff fantastic. We will return when next in Palm Cove.
