Great casual eating. Fabulous views of the beautiful Whitsunday water. Food: fresh and delicious. We sampled fish and chips, cesaer salad, wild caught fish and fish cakes. None failed to please. The Esspresdo Martinis for dessert finished off a very pleasant meal. Recommend it for a casual meal with a menu which should have something for everyone.

I visited The Deck Restaurant on two nights running - the first for coffee and desert and the second for dinner. They advertised that they served the best coffee in town and certainly lived up to their reputation. Both dinner and desert were excellent quality and the service was prompt and friendly. The location is great and I would strongly recommend this restaurant - particularly if you are after something better than the "pub grub" available at most other venues in Airlie Beach.

We walked in at lunchtime and got a friendly greeting from the wait staff
and then shown to our pre booked table at the front of The Deck facing the water.

This is an open air restaurant with large Bi folding doors that give you a nice breeze and
views that dining in the open gives, nice table settings, but chairs a little low and hard,

we ordered our wines from a good selection, and then our meals..
Battered spanish Mackeral chips, and Salad with fresh made tatare sauce.
Fish cakes and salsa dressing.

We sipped our wines and gazed at the water views, and people passing alongside the restaurant.

There are outside table and stool settings for snacks, coffees, or drinks where you are part
of the Airlie Beach Main Street Passing Parade the perfect place to be Seen, maybe passing
comments, or just Gawking at the Attire on some people.

Our meals came soon.. the Batter on my spanish Mackeral was one of the most Deliciously
tasting in 4 yrs travelling around Oz eating battered Fish many times.. Delicious, light, clear colour, not oily when bitten into just perfect
the string chips a little cold and flat ..(it was windy inside ) .. our Salad was generous and colourful
and freshly Delicious tasting..But To Much Dressing.

The Fish cakes were tasty but not much fish in them the salsa with it was very tasty.

The interior of the Deck was tastfully decorated and appealing a well stocked Bar,
an open kitchen behing the ordering counter is always Great to see,
All staff were well dressed and smiling
the waitresses polite and friendly.. no Ows ya meals guys... attentive and no tatts... just well groomed

This is a very clean smart trendy Restaurant that Stands Above Many others in this Main street.

Hi Duyvo74, We do offer table service inside the restaurant as explained when u came into the bar area, which is not table service. We see it as a very reasonable price for two large coffees & cake these days. Sorry you think differently.
