Owner description: 'ISail Whitsundays was founded by Luke Mairs in 2007 with one simple goal: To provide one of the best sailing trips of the Whitsunday Islands. Since then the business has grown and now 2 boats showcase Luke's genuine passion for sailing and love of all things aquatic. Everyone at ISail Whitsundays prides themselves on personalised service aboard quality boats. Each tour sails, visits Whitehaven Beach including Hill Inlet Lookout and snorkels in at least 2 of the best fringing coral reef locations. Sailing with a small group offers many advantages. Boats taking less than 13 guests are allowed full access to the marine park, meaning ISail's boats can visit the best whitsunday locations whilst avoiding the crowds. There are 2 boats within the company: The 14.9m long yacht Blizzard and the 14.2m long catamaran On Ice. ISail Whitsundays offers day charters and overnight tours. All tours depart and return via Northern Abell Point Marina in Airlie Beach Queensland Australia.

I went on a 1 night/2 day sail on the Iceberg in May 2014 and it was fantastic. Everyone was so nice. The other travelers I met were so friendly and outgoing. The crew was equally as great. At the end of the day, the trip will be what you make of it. I was interested in learning about the sailing experience -what it means to live on a boat and have that be your livelihood. It was such an eye-opening experience. By the end of the 2 days I wished I didn't have to leave. This is a perfect trip for someone who wants to have the sailing experience but doesn't have the time to do a longer trip. IF you do have the time, I suggest booking a 2+ night adventure... You won't regret it!

In a time of mass tourism, finding a crew that sincerely cares about making your experience memorable is rare. Thanks for that!!! Would recommend these guys to anyone looking for adventure and an awesome time.

We went on a sailing trip on the 'Iceberg' boat a few days ago and had the most wonderful time and experience of the Whitsundays and the reef. The crew was fantastic and very knowledgable and went out of the way to make sure we hit the best spots and the best times. You could even participate and help the crew put the sails up, which we loved as this is what it is all about. We saw dolphins, turtles, beautiful parts of the reef and Whitehaven beach at its best time. The food was very good, fresh and healthy as well, which is a big bonus as usually the food on these tours is very simple and cheap. We can only recommend this tour to everyone who is looking for a real sailing experience in a small group with passionate crew members!

We have just had the most fantastic time on the "On Ice" catamaran sailing the beautiful Whitsunday islands over the last 3 days and 2 nights.

The crew Luke and Sean provided for all our needs on and in the water and more tasty food than we could possible eat. We were provided with a wonderful range of snorkeling locations and even though the weather was not the best, we all still saw the wonders of the reef and the islands around the Whitsunday's.

Trying out snorkeling, paddle boards and under water sea scooters provided some excellent experiences and challenges as well as the sailing in the serenity under sail at sunset eating a range snacks and drinking your favorite beverage.

It was great to only have a small number of guests were on board as this allowed us to get to know each other and exchange stories.

Just remember to bring your own alcohol and some warmer clothes or spray jacket, if you feel the cold.

Thanks for taking such good care of us and I would strongly recommend this as an event to experience.

Thank Andrew W

We enjoyed the 3 day 2 night trip on the sailboat with Jessie at the helm and Eva at his side. They did everything they could to make sure we were safe, fed well and had fun. We have sailed on all types boats all over the world and would give this trip a two thumbs up. We were most impressed by the width of the main cabin inside. Just fabulous. We had an ensuite cabin and it had ample room and very clean. We were fortunate to share our sail with a wonderful group of people from all over the world. We usually charter our own boats with friends so we were delighted to encounter such a fun group of people whom we had never met. Jesse and Eva did all they could to make you feel at home on a boat and understand safety as needed. They are a crew to be commended. The Whitsundays Islands are something one should not miss. With a small group one has the luxury of heading where the wind will take you. The snorkeling was great, water clear and Jesse made an effort to make sure we could snorkel the best sites as the water permitted. Quite lovely choices he made. Eva gave us a tour of Whitehaven early in the morning as both her and Jesse explained best to head off before the other boats arrive. We had the area to ourselves and early morning light is so magical for photos. Highly recommend this experience. Thankful for a wonderful group to sail with and a fabulous crew. One of the highlights of our trip to Australia. Thank you Jesse and Eva for making one and all feel welcome aboard !
